Is there an interest in new/replacement ceramic cups for atty building? I'm working with someone on getting some supplied here in the states. I need to draw up the cups dimensions for the price quote. I have a 510 for reference. What other sizes are desirable?

I have an 810 and 901 coming this week that I will draw up as well. Any others that people are interested in?

Also working on the nickel mesh....

Ive contacted some company's in china also looking for ceramic atty parts also I have one that will produce them at around twenty dollars a thousand . I haven't heard anything back on the nickel foam as of yet. I will pm you if you want a few pics of a atty design I'm working on I haven't yet decided on the final size of it . I would love a lead to get some nickel foam .Probably be Sunday before I can get to my computer to pm you .

edit : people use screen all the time for vape stuff , but the properties of brass and stainless mesh make it sort of an electrical problem iirc, when used on an atty at least... i was thinking the same thing...now im going the way of no filler , all fiber carts...

How does it become an electrical problem? Wouldn't it only have to touch the outer tube? Or are you saying that the electricity would arc to the coil?

im not saying that screens shouldnt be used , but im very drop prone , and this keeps me from trusting a screen wick or anything. i was thinking of using a piece of screen for a tube carto , with only silica rope and a piece of screen , but it would be hard to keep solid.

anything is possible , but if you touch the nichrome to the screen and or short it , you have a big problem...especially if its right at your face...

i just burned one of my new attys from vaporcountry today , put my pda down on my mod box and never unscrewed the atty , hit the switch and made a nice self-vape...of course my other one tasted like mouthwash for some reason ...

i really cant wait till tomorrow to get the supplies i need to put together a bomb pruf carto...

I'm just talking about using strips of brass or stainless pipe screen instead of nickel mesh when rebuilding attys - because it seems near impossible to find small quantities of nickel mesh. I can't see how the screen would be anymore of an electrical problem than the standard nickel mesh - both are electrical conductors.

Great suggestion! I looked this up and Amazon and it looks fairly similar to the nickel mesh. I may have to try this...

I found it when I was looking up supplies to build my own atty. I'm still mulling it over, but the aluminum mesh is definitely going to be part of my design.
