Ceramic Bases

Maybe someone can shed some light on this subject for me. Just really really curious, I own a few RBAs with Ceramic bases or something of the sort. Most notably the Immortalizer. I have used the same exact single coil build on one atty without the ceramic as I did on the Immo w/ the ceramic. What makes the juice taste so much more succulent and delicious on a ceramic atty? is it a moisture thing? I just want to know what exactly makes the vaping experience so much better with a ceramic base in the atty.
