I'm kind of confused by them myself. I tried to wade through the big thread, but a lot of it was over my head. I think I remember seeing that they faired better on lower voltages than high, but I can't find that specific part of the thread. I believe it was somebody who had a Li'l Sister who was able to dial it down below 3.7, but I could be mistaken. Does anybody know for sure if these actually work better on something like the Riva or eGo than a full-fledged 3.7 or even a 5V?

I have the CE2s with the ceramic cup. They work great on my Little Sister if I dial the voltage low (way below 3.7) and taste great. But, they taste burned very fast on my Elegant (like an Ego or Riva). Same with my Hello (burn taste after just a few puffs). They also leak when filling no matter how you fill. The plus is that the liquids taste great when used at low voltages. The biggest con is that they leak and I waste liquid. I've only used one of each type (510 and 808) and am so fed up with them, that I've not refilled either in over a week.

Not here.
I've found these get a burned taste fairly easily.

Apparently, the E2s I ordered from COV have a lower resistance (LR) than the regular, polyfill Boge cartomizers I've been using. With the E2s, if turn my little sister above the appoximate 8:00 position, the taste gets rather unpleasant. Even with a standard 510 batt, they sometimes get too hot when I don't leave them to cool for a bit between hits. Hopefully, these will be available with a higher resistance in the near future.

I just got some of the 510 ceramics, and I really like them. I did have to "fluff" up the wick a little, which isn't hard to do.
On my little sister at the near lowest setting I get good flavor, and huge vapor. It is also working well on my Riva.

Some people are having mixed results with leaking, too dry (fluff the wick) bad connections, but so far on the first one I have tried it works great.

As a side note I have some of the original plastic cup version, and have used one exclusively for 37 days. I just put it aside to try out the new version, but it is still kicking.

I'm liking them allot. Have them on a Janty eGo, a DSE Ego, T-Rex, Hello-16, and a couple Tasty Vapor logo'ed 900 mah (ego) bats.

You can fluff the wick by pulling it up and out with small tweezers & stuff it back in. Badkolo, Banjoman, JJRose, br5495, naviathan, + many others have done a bunch of testing and mods on them here. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...13951-e2-cartomizer-technical-discussion.html

For me, they work pretty well almost right out the box. I pull the caps off, flush with vodka, fill by dripping down the side of the cup prime the coil with juice, put plugs back in and vape away. TH and taste like dripping with a LR atty, but the conveiance of a carto.

Have only had one minor leak out of five so far. :)

Edit: Almost forgot JJRose & ziodmam are testing/ modding too.

ok , IF you ordered the e2 with ceramic then you should know this. some are at 2.5 ohm, that will get warm to hot at 3.7 volts and above. so I suggest using these on alower voltage.

the ones that are 3.0 ohm are perfect at 3.7 and 5volts.
They started giving people the option to choose 4 ohm settings so try to pick the higest one they have which is 3.0 to 3.2 ohms.
if follow my video of the ptb, it can also help with the lower ohms.

Who carries the ones above 2.5 ohms?

Thanks, but I'm not a modder, just post my observations. I have had one of the originals last for 37 days, and it still works. I just put it aside for a little while to try out the new ones.
All the modding and recommendations came from nav, bad, BR, zoid, banjo, and others I may have missed.
Keep up the good work guys.
