I've been using ceramic wick since April and they wick good, on par with most ss builds imo. You still have to tilt when the tank starts getting low. They are fragile but I've never had one break once installed and you must wrap the coil as tight as possible around the wick(no gaps) for best performance. This is easier for me to do outside the tank before installing and less chance of breaking it that way.
The major pluses are taste, how long they last and ease of cleaning. I've never had one just wear out and they are so easy to clean. For cleaning I just run water through the tank let it drain out around the wick and dry burn, no breaking the build down and rebuilding. I've had one AGT2+ going with the same build since April. I rinse and dry burn when needed and it's like new again every time. I don't ever see having to replace it unless I drop it or something. Cheapest and easiest build I've ever done considering it's been 8 months and still performing like new.
