I still vape a whole lot when I'm not busy doing something I can't vape at. I still vape WTA a lot and I never go below 24 mg. I don't plan to quit so I guess I've got the green light since it doesn't make my body sick. If I'm vaping too much when I buy 36 mg nic (or DIY it) I do get nauseated so that is my signal it's too much.

That makes me think... I haven't really thought about what my long-term goal is. Not sure if I'm happy to vape indefinitely or to eventually kick this new-found habit as well. I suppose I'm really just concentrating on getting rid of the analogues at this stage.

I'm definitely going to look into this WTA business. And there I was thinking I was becoming reasonably advanced in vaping knowledge.

I started with 18, and had a 24 for in the morning. I used WTA too, but that was before I managed 72 hours (of course, I wasn't trying that hard, so I might have made it that long without it).
I think everyone chain vapes when they first stop smoking. :)

I've read elsewhere that people usually reduce their nicotine levels for vaping prior to going to sleep, so that they can sleep. That's something I'll have to bear in mind when I get hold of my different strength liquids.

The first time I tried e-cigs (a year ago), I was on 11mg and I didn't stick to it- although there were a lot of other issues at the time.

This time, I'm on 18mg and I've been analogue free for 22 days (and counting) although I too am chain-vaping. I was advised by people on the forum to up my intake to 24mg in a morning to get over the first cig of the day and that definitely helped. After two weeks, I unconsciously stopped the 24mg on a morning! Having gotten over the first three weeks, I'm now turning my thoughts to lowering my nicotine intake in the next couple of months because of the chainvaping...I can deal with the hand-to-mouth addiction later!

11mg sounds very low considering what you used to smoke! It might be worth upping the strength... that said, I've read plenty of posts on here about people enjoying vaping and the taste of their juices so they vape anyway. Try a 10ml bottle of stronger juice and if that helps, you know where you've gotta be. If not, it's there for dire emergencies and you've not wasted too much money. If higher strength works for you, you can keep the lower nicotine incase you feel ready, or that you want to, cut down further.

Three days is awesome- but imagine how good you'll feel when you make it to a week, or a month, or a year! :) I have an app on my phone that constantly reminds me of how awesome I'm doing and the many health benefits...it costs it up and includes the costs of e-cigs in the calculation too. It's called aha! Smokefree from the android app store...I've got a widget on my phone desktop so it's always there to remind me. It's free and certainly helps me...maybe give it a try!

I have yet to find a person who could stay on Chantex or what ever they call it. Had a few who gave up on vaping because of the early automatics. Me I never want to go back to the stinkies.

Despite the fact it turned me into Travis Bickle, Champix/Chantix actually did get me to stop smoking for six weeks. It does seem to affect most people in a pretty bad way. Thank God for vaping. It seems like a miracle. To me, it feels like giving up, without giving up.

I tried a cheap and nasty e-cig about a year ago. It's sold locally still. It's called the "Health e-cigarette" (lightake : Health E-cigarette - YouTube) and it's complete and utter rubbish. Burnt carto taste, really poor battery life, only produced vapour if and when it felt like doing so. It really turned me off the whole idea of e-cigs at the time. I'm really thankful I had another look at vaping recently.
