RDA Chalice III Build

I received my Mark Bugs Chalice III the other day. It's been sitting on my build bench for about a week. In anticipation of receiving my Squask (Squonker Flask ), I decided to put a build in the Chalice. I took some pix along the way so I thought I'd share.

30g nickel, 8/9 wrap, 2mm ID.

Sally's rayon. Cut off a piece about 1/4" wide, rolled it between my palms and threaded it through the coil.

Here you can see good coil contact.

Snipped the ends off,

Fluffed the ends up.

Took about half of the wick and tucked it back between the mounting posts and down into the juice well.

Tucked the rest down underneath the coil.

I'm thinking I might go back and trim a little from the tails going back between the posts.

And now I patiently await delivery of my Squask.

Actually, that build did not perform very well. I had way too much rayon in it. When I re-wicked it, I thinned the tails a bit and I cut the ends so that they were just barely covering the squonk hole. I'll try to remember to post up a pic then next time I rebuild it.

How you enjoying squonking? I've never been a huge fan myself but the Flask squonker really had me interested for an out and about device.

It's a very enjoyable vaping experience just like all the Reonauts talk about. I'm very happy with it although the Flask Squonk comes with a bottle that is pretty stiff requiring a good amount of pressure to squonk.

I am interested in TC I have not got one yet. I enjoy a warm vape not hot just very warm, is this possible with the dna?

It is for me. I''m currently vaping a MST with a 0.13Ω build at 28-30w and 500F. Nice and warm.

The Smokeless Owl clone from focal works every bit as good as a Reo. I've owned several Reo's in the past. Sure, the Reo is built much stronger and is much more durable than the Smokeless Owl, but it's also about $120 cheaper. Great mod for those interested in trying a bottom feeder mod!
