This is not GG related other than the only pv's I use are GG's.

When I first started, 7 months ago, I used a 510 style battery device in 3.7V like most of us did. I vaped all the time. I then went to a Reo which is a great machine, still in 3.7v and almost vaped myself into a coma.

I then discovered HV and DC tanks with a cheap passthru and liquidnators and my whole life changed. I finally found the throat hit I was missing from analogs and also, flavors came alive. I vaped at 7.4V for the last few months, always using stong nicotine PG juices.

Now, I'm finding that I vape much less and I discovered that I enjoy a nice LR atomiser on top of a 3.7V vaping VG???

My current favorite device is one of my GGTS with just a 1.5 ohm LR atty and I just drip. I did drop a little mesh doughnut to get a few more hits and that works perfect. In watching hundreds of videos over the past few months, I was always amazed that the pro's all seemed to drip. At the time I didn't understand it but now, I think I do.

Does any of this sound familiar to anybody?

VERY. It evolves... I started out with V4L 808's then moved to Ego's and started experimenting. Was originally on standard PG and PG/VG blend juices, but since then I've gone to 100% VG, only LR.

Only difference for me, is after I fell in love with the flavor I got from dripping into LR atomizers, I tried CE2's, and found that I got as much flavor if not more from LR CE2's (2.4 - which is about as low as they go in CE2's). Being VG only though, I don't have much luck with standard CE2 cartos because the VG just doesn't wick all that great when its that cramped, and I like the wick SOAKED... So I use CE2 tanks for the most part, always rolling it around to get it nice and soaked.

But now with things like the Odysseus on the horizon.... oof... I see a new step in my vaping evolution coming. Especially as a CE2 lover, I gotta say, when I see Imeo building that lovely FAT ceramic cup, with nice big notches in the sides, and a big ole fat wick... Its like a sandwich lover watching someone build a world record hoagie...

Exactly where I was headed with this. I tried the Iatty but it just didn't work well for me but then again, I wasn't into LR back then so I kept burning them up on HV and I kept having problems with that tiny cup and all that plastic in there. If the "Ody" has a fat cup and will take fat wicks, that thing has the full capability of being the perfect vape. I thought i found that when I went to the AVS and then the UFS but I very ,icj like the idea of making my own coils

Torque I think I went through the same!

I started on eGos, then briefly tried the 510-T for a week or so, but stuck with eGos. I went from Dripping, to Cartos, then tanks, then cartos again. Then I invested in a CE2 tank and that was it for me, I was hooked. I started collecting tons of atties and cartos through trades and order mistakes and somebody told me to get a VV device. I got an original infinity and realized I could vape everything, out of anything! I was super hooked. Now that I tried a Mod I had to have them all. I bought a Prodigy, 4 Sparkplugs, a Buzz, Infernotube, Ultramax, Diamante, Provari and eventually a GG.

The GG was a show-stopper. I decided I was a 6V man and switched to 3ohm Boge cartos. I tried the iAtty, but I couldn't get it working efficiently at 6V and couldn't get the coil right for 3.7V. I am excited about the new things coming and that fat ceramic cup looks wonderful.

I have a UFS V2 en route as well as a REO mini and Grand. I'm trying to get back on the 3.7V train but I can't seem to find a consistent and affordable supplier of LR atties in Canada.

As for juice, I was all about tobacco flavours until I tried an "Apple Pie" and started trying every flavour I could get my hands on. I went from 36mg to 12mg in less than 2 months, now I'm at 6mg. I was always about the VG, as I liked my lungs to be full of thick and creamy vapor. Now I don't mind a bit of PG to build the flavour, but for the most part VG does just fine.

Oh and Torque - love your signature quote. Did you know the actor playing Clemenza improvised the line "Take the cannoli"? All the script called for was just "Leave the gun." Coppola loved it of course, so it stayed.

I did know that, and I went ahead and corrected my signature. It wasn't drop the gun, it was "leave the gun"

Thanks for pointing that out.

I like the story about when Harrison Ford was supposed to fight the Arab with the big sword in the first Indiana Jones movie. I heard he had a real bad cold and as a joke, he took out his gun and shot him. The director liked it so much he left it in...

What i would like to see Imeo make is a simple Rebuildable Atomiser, similar to an Ato-Mizer but with quality materials for dripping. I would also like to see him bring back the GGTB but in a single 16340 size. The Stealth is nice but quite big in diameter. I would like to see a slimmer unit built for a dedicated 16340 with a small (not tiny) rebuildable atty.

Now that would be cool.

Awesomely, this is what one part of the Odysseus is. I'm sure eventually all those bits and bobs are going to be available separately, too.

There's always one in every crowd but other than the quality of equipment used, I am still pretty much vaping as I did when I started: 3.7 volts @ 2.4-2.6ohms using as much 30mg juice as I can vaporize.

I tried VV and found out I was for sure a "3.7 guy". I tried dripping but way too hot for me. I am a creature of habit admittedly though. I'll cchoose to eat the same thing for breakfast for 16-18 months at a time for example.

Granted there were no tanks in use in the early going but I see that more of an equipment upgrade to facilitate my preferred style. I can say that the Odysseus will make me more adventuresome just by the options it offers. :)

You will love the UFS. Dress the orings and threads with petroleum jelly and remember juice cut off is ccw. Flow is clockwise. I went nuts until I understood that. The jelly makes everything spin nicely and this beast loves dual coil attys and thick vg. I only do this mod in the am when my body is starved for nicotine. At night I drip

Ha I am the same way I ate the same meals every day for about 4 years straight. Maybe having 1 day being different.

As for my vaping trends well I like a lot of people was completely satisfied with 3.7 untill I got a hit of VV. That is why I am soo excited about the VV addon for my GG. I am making due with 6v right now but the sweet spot with my DC cartos seems to be right about 4.5-4.8v under load. I am getting 5.2v under load with fresh batterys and it drops off to about 4.2 before my batterys die. But when they are in the 4.5-4.8 spot it is vaping bliss for me.
