Yes I used a meter without a carto and it was around 4.1v (that's about usual) Though I have gotten up to 4.2 before with a fully charged battery in a Precise Plus. But sometimes I was getting less than that on the GG. It would vari every time I screwed it together. I put the 2.0 boge carto in and the voltage dropped down to below 3.7 to about 3.0 one time I believe.

Yes that is the fuse kit I have, thanks so much for your help Vaporologist. I will sand and put 2 springs together and see if it improves and gives me some consistency.
Just to make sure we are talking about the same thing...

I believe that buttons with magnet upgrade still require maintenance but I don't have any experience in that department so someone else will probably help you out with that.

I notice a few of you GG fans also have a Provari like me.

Since getting my GG, the Provari has been gathering dust. I pull it out every once in a while and try to use it just because I feel guilty about spending that much on what is now essentially a back-up PV, but I always come back to the GGTS - it just hits better. Logically, there's really no reason why you couldn't get the same hit out of a Provari, but it just isn't true - the GG hits better. Period. (I use the GGTS at 3.7v with a 1.7ohm carto.)

Do any of you still use your Provari regularly?

If you try any atomizer to the GGTS you will see a better hit and a better smoke Yeti. I notice the difference when I tried the GGTS with the stealth cap and the regular cap of GGTS. Its the collector tank that makes the difference. And its a big difference but I cant totally understand why this is happening. Its an air issue.
Also, you cant hear atomizer working inside GGTS, its very silent, because of the collector tank again

Battery spring gives the maximum of voltage when its fully screwed Dan. If you screw the GGTS a little you will have less voltage than if you screw it harder. The diffence is about 0,2 volt and it will increase while screwing more. If you have the fuse on the GGTS then you just need one more spring for it. :)
I just got a GG and I am having issues, since you guys seem to be getting great hits, thought you could figure this out for me. I am getting very different voltages from my GG as I tighten and untighten it. I have a magnetic switch and a fuse spring with a top on it with plastic screw (not an exposed spring) and the other end on the Stealth cap looks the same. even when it's reading 4.1 on a fully charged battery I screw on a 2.0 boge carto and get about a volt or more of drop off in my meter and when i take off the meter and just screw it in I am not getting hardly any hit. All of the connection points seem like shiny metal (stainless steel?) should I Noalox the crap out of this or am I just doing it wrong. Sorry to hijack this thread but I am looking for this great hit of which you speak. I have seen all the video's and they never mention any of this or meter it out with a battery (might be missing something) . I am using AW Red 18500's with the stealth cap, but have had the same issue with the UFS v2 and TS air flow cap.

GGTS will work with only the axis on it Dan. Just unscrew the plastic and the metal nut and leave only the axis on the GGTS.
Okay I will try that when I get to the house this evening and get back on here. There is a screw with the button end for the negative post of the battery, screwed into the plastic screw...spring screwed into the button threads then the plastic screw is screwed into the post that the magnetic button hits. If I took the fuse spring out of the kit, I don't think the button would hit the bottom of the inside of the post? Also I forgot to mention that my button is getting hot. Is that normal?

magnetic button needs maintenance Dan. It collects dust and small metal things from the environment.
I say assume, because I was told that it was when I got it off the classifies that it was magnetic and from video's that I saw assumed it would never need maintenance.

What is this GG you all speak of? I usually GG after a game of starcraft, but I'm guessing this is not the same GG.

You can find information about GG at the Golden Greek - E-Cigarette Wiki

There you'll find all facts, but you have to use it for vaping to get an impression how excellent GGs are. :vapor:

hehehehehe....my 18 year old son said the same thing when he saw the GG logo on my pretty device. He looked at it and said "you have a 'Good Game' ????" I said, "yeah....but it's also known as 'the Golden Greek'"

Quick question if anyone could answer: there are two SSGGs on the COV site, one has a telescope. Is there any reason you would buy the SSGTS without the telescope? Is there a difference between the two?

Thanks!

Unless I am missing something the only GGTS I see on COV without the telescope is the Stealth. Which you can add a telescope to later but is made to be a short stealthy mod so it didn't have the top tube collector tank or telescope. Otherwise I see 2 versions complete SS and SS and Brass COV edition.
