I am new to GG as I just got my first SS GGTS. I have used the same carto (a 1.7oHm resurrecter) on my Prodigy V3.1, Silver bullet at 3.7V, Lavatube at various voltages from 3.7 to higher (although it is internally limiting) and on the GG I just get better throat hit and huge plumes of vapor. I am waiting on some Nextel XC-116 due to stock wick being nasty tasting with Odysseus instead of struggling with the off flavor. So, I will keep using the carto until I can get better wick.

Battery spring gives the maximum of voltage when its fully screwed Dan. If you screw the GGTS a little you will have less voltage than if you screw it harder. The diffence is about 0,2 volt and it will increase while screwing more. If you have the fuse on the GGTS then you just need one more spring for it. :)

So, what I get from this post is, more screwing good, less screwing bad. Fully screwed is best. Is that what y'all get too? Works for me.. ;)

Sorry, I LOL'd when I read it, and had to share my thoughts.

I need to get one of those in-between voltage testers to see what exactly is going on with mine too. Still fiddling with it..

Well I have had a lot of luck with putting o-rings on the middle tube. Less or More O rings will be needed in accordance to the atomizer / battery you are using. I am having the best luck with air-flow, flavor and vapor, with the regular SS GGTS flow top with a Cisco 1.5 901. I always loved the 901, but they leaked, I even tried the drip shields, and I drilled out the holes huge and everything and didn't get this great air flow that I am getting now, and it is so quiet.

I suppose putting the 901 in the UFSv2 I have would not be a good idea because you couldn't control the amount of juice due to the hole in the side...or am I wrong.

You can use a 901 in the UFS and still use the juice control. Cover up the hole in the atty with something (o-ring, piece of carto condom, etc) and use a 510-901 adapter that has the air holes in the side of the connector (or a 510 extender that has the air holes and a stealth adapter, may need to cover up the joint between these as with the atty air hole). I have the necessary adapters to do this, but haven't tried yet, myself
