Changing flavors

might be a stupid question but , do you wash out your tank and change wicks when you switch to a new flavor ?

or for drippers just change the wick when switching from flavor to flavor...

It depends, many times i just rinse out my clearos but I usually change the wick in my dripper.

just thought maybe I was being OCD lol...there were a few times I switched flavors without cleaning and I can still taste the remnant of the old flavor. With the halo it was easy just to have a few extra tanks to use for each flavor. It would be costly to have a few Russian 91's lol

I use fruit/drink/sweet flavors exclusively so I don't switch wicks on my dripper unless they're burnt. I like tasting the combination as the previous flavor fades away.

If you really want to clean the wicks, take the coil assembly out, remove the chimney and soak the unit in vodka overnight. Next morning let it dry and you are good to go!

Of course, I would also recommend dry burning the coil if you already have it out and ready....

ETA: About once a month I disassemble the whole tank and soak it overnight in vodka, then put in a rebuilt coil and wick.
