Changing Flavours

I apologize if there is a thread for this already. I ran a quick search and couldnt find anything. Please redirect me if necessary! I'm planning on picking up a few new flavours very soon. I only have a 4ml Boge tank and two CE4 clearos. I'd like to try all of the flavours as soon as they come. Is it okay to put one flavour into a clearo, use it all, then wash the tank and dab away the excess juice on the wick, then load up the next flavour I want to try? Or will this transfer too many flavours? OR should I buy an RBA with my juice order (looking into the Phoenix/Bully2)? I'm really new to vaping!

Not sure you want to go with an RBA until you get a handle on dripping. I use a 306DCA but any atomizer will work for testing juices.

I've never had much luck cleaning cartos or clearos, they never seem to be the same afterwards.

Check the threads for dripping atty recommendations and a good drip cup. I like 306 atty's for dripping myself.

Sent from my easy chair using brain waves.

Okay thanks. Would you not recommend buying an RBA because of the whole rebuilding procedure being complicated? I'm very intuitive and I think i'd be able to handle it. Plus, a local vendor sells pre wrapped coils with wicks for very cheap. The reason I was looking into that atty was cause the juice vendor I chose had a limited selection of attys, so i figured i may as well make it rebuildable.

If you are going to go the RBA way, you need a good mech mod. You also need ss mesh and kanthal wire. Ive never heard of pre wrapped coils with wicks for an RBA, maybe its for a clearo or something ?? If you want to change flavors a bit you might want to get a few carto tanks or other tank systems. I personally have 4 carto tanks I use everyday because otherwise I get vapers tongue (where I cant taste my juice)

You do? Grimm Green is right here using an eGo Twist... I have an iTaste MVP which goes up to 5v. I dont feel like spending >$10 on like 5 new tanks.

I know GrimmGreen has the devices that check ohms to ensure his device can handle the amps. I cant get the second video to load at the moment but almost all reviewers check their ohms prior to vaping. If you go too low for your device, you could short it. Thats why I check ohms and use a mech for vaping.

hey,

if you wash out the clearomizer make sure you use distilled water. And then you need to dry burn a little and try to make the inside dry.

It wont taste great. I'd recommend finding a clearomizer in which you can take off the atomizer head and replace it. That way you only buy the atomizer heads. I Personally smoke one until its almost dry then fill it up with another flavor. i find if i smoke lets say 8 clearomizers a day by the end of the day the other flavor is gone.

If you have help, that would be nice. I haven't tried one yet, so I would be no help. Maybe I should grab one on payday. Everyone who's into dripping seems really like them.

I dont want to use an eGo, I want to use my MVP, which is a vv box mod that can go down to 3.3v. I'm probably just going to go for it, since its $7 and i'm making an order anyways. If I order one from another vendor alone, then I'm going to be paying more than that just for the shipping. As long as my mod doesnt blow up, it's all good.

You don't strictly need a mechanical mod to use RBAs, not sure where sheila got that.

You do need to use a multimeter or a fancypants device to check the ohms and make sure you don't have any shorts, though.

You can get a phoenix clone zuper cheap right here: The Bulldog Rebuildable Atomizer and Phil can show you how it's done: A PBusardo Review - The Bulldog Rebuildable Atomizer - YouTube

If i were you though, i'd just get a cheap little ego atomizer for testing flavors. All you have to do is blow them out really good then give them a few quick dry burns while blowing down the barrel. works fine for me.

Of course you can rinse out your clearos if you want to, but unless they come completely apart (like, say, vivi novas) you'll have a hell of a time drying them out.

Of course if you have complimentary juice (ie, moving from a vanilla to an RY4) you don't even have to bother with the rinsing really. Going from absinthe to banana pudding would be gross, though

Good luck, OP.

thankyouthankyouthankyou! Yes, the clone (Bully II) is only $7.99 at jugheads. As I said, I'd rather just toss an atty in from the vendor i'm ordering juice from to avoid other shipping costs. Right out of the box, I shouldnt have any shorting problems, right? It's only when I'm rebuilding? I'm planning on buying these afterwards for replacements until I get the whole technique down. They are very cheap as well. https://www.canvape.com/product-p/wickwire.htm . Still need a

and thanks LarryPer for that list. I'm not ordering any of the flavours on that list :] If you recommend a glass tank, which would it be? Protank?
