I've been doing something for awhile now but never thought about if anyone else was having the same experience.

After I mix a batch, I'll test it (of course) and to test I always use a 306 atty. To me, the 306 is the cleanest clearest vape I know. I also use boge cartos and lately the Pro tank. I believe with the 306 I'm getting the actual flavor from the juice I mixed, although that is only what I believe and could be wrong. Anyway.... I will take that same batch, put it in my boge carto and all of a sudden it's too sweet. I think it must be the filler in the carto that is making this happen . On the other hand, I use the same batch in the Pro tank and I need more sweetener and more flavor. I figure it's just the coil isn't that great for bringing out the flavor (coil only lasts me 2 days top).

I have a batch for atty's, a batch for carto's and now a third for the Pro Tank! All the same flavor...sort of... just tweaked a bit differently. Does anyone else experience this or is this just another one of those ME things!

It may be as simple as the density of the vapor you are getting from each device-
I haven't used cartos in quite awhile, but when I did I noticed about the same thing as you with an RY4. The carto with a tight draw seemed to give a heavier vape with a much sweeter taste, whereas an evod with the same liquid seemed a bit lighter and less sweet. The only thing I could figure besides the filler in the carto was that the evod had a much more airy draw and the "mouth feel" was lacking. I also noticed a significant drop in sweetness.
Lately I use a RBA for testing my flavors since it gives the most consistent flavor of anything I have tried. Ever consider tinkering with one?

Yes I have. I started with the first I saw from Liberty Flights a while back. My problem with rba's is the coil wrapping. I practice over and over with very poor results. I've accomplished one decent wrap with a pro tank coil out of 10 or so. I have lots of wire, ss mesh and wick but just can't seem to get the hang of it. I've read many threads and watched lots of videos and wish I could master it but....

LOL it only took me about 10 feet of wire before I got the hang of it. I feel your pain.
Another option would be to buy premade coils with wicks like so:
Smoktech Vivi Rebuildable Tank Replacement Wick and Coil (5PK) - MyFreedomSmokes.com
Ordered some for a friend with a VVN and they were pretty impressive. Looks to be 32g kanthal on a 3mm silica wick, and the wicks had to be at least 4" long- enough for 2 or 3 in a RBA.
I have just found the RBA to be really handy when testing tobacco flavors, especially when a bit of the taste can hang around in a wick (I'm looking at you, black cherry). Easy to pull and replace rather than my experience with 510 drippers.....boil, rinse, blow and dry burn to get a somewhat good cleaning. Maybe I just have crappy luck with them. I don't know.
