This really depends on what coils you're using.

Most coils you can clean by running hot water over them, or soaking in cheap vodka. Some folks use a sonic cleaner with hot water, vodka or everclear. Once their soaked or rinsed, you can dry fire them until clean.

Dry firing is done 3 to 5 seconds at a time until the coil has burned off any residue and the coil starts to glow nice and red.

No, you don't have to, but some flavors will like to hang around longer than others, and if they don't mesh well together you might not like it too much.
If you're using something with a changeable coil head though, It'd be easy enough to just rinse the tank and use different heads for different flavors.

I'm using a Iclear 30s. With a vtr.

Good setup! I LOVE my VTR. Been vaping for 2 years, and it's by far my fave device I've tried. The 30s coils are a pain to clean though. When I was using those, I kept different coil heads for different flavors since cleaning them was a bit of a process. You can clean them, but they take a bit to dry, and dry firing those (at least for me) left them tasting a bit burny. I cleaned mine in a vodka soak overnight, then rinsed thoroughly and let them dry for 24 hours while using a new head for whatever flavor I had changed to. Keeping different heads for different flavors works well for me!

It's really just personal preference how you want to go about it. You could use different heads for different flavors, rinse and dry burn the same head between flavors, or if the liquids are'nt to far apart in flavor just put one in on top of the other. There's no set way to do it, whatever works for you.

Do I need to change my coil when I change a juice flavor?

I still pretty new, and all those years of heavy smoking really did a number on my taste buds. I honestly can't taste the other flavor when I just rinse out my clearomizer, and fill it up with new juice. People with more discerning taste will probably say change the coil/heads, clean or soak, but my experience is it doesn't make much difference in the taste, to me.

You might just try refilling and not changing, and see what you think about the taste.
