Changing The Nic Strength?

I've got a 10mL bottle with about 1/4th of it used. So I guess there's about 7mL of juice in there. The current strength is 18mg. If I were to top off the bottle with 0mg nic juice, what would the new strength be?

If there is a particular formula used to figure out the difference please share it!

You will reduce it by about 1/4th. Not exact, but a good rough estimate. If you added 7ml of 0mg juice to 7ml of 18mg juice you would cut it in half or to 9mg so adding 1/2 cuts it by about 1/4th...

(18*7)/10=12.6

Cutting it by a 4th would reduce it to about 13.5mg

Here's the foolproof way to calculate nic percentages.

TOTAL nic in the bottle divided by total volume.

SO - you've got 7mls X 18 mg/ml = 126 mg of nic total
When you fill the bottle with no-nic, you've STILL got 126 mg of nic, but now it's in 10 mls, right?
So that's 126/10 = 12.6 mgs/ml

Make sense?
Works for any mg/ml calculation...

Thanks for the replies! Sorry I lagged on the gratitude, I blame it on the forum upgrade but I do like the changes, mostly.

The diluted juice seems to be working well for me so far. I don't have any way to test what the actual nic content is but it's not giving me headaches or anything so it must be strong enough
