Not to condone the use of chantix, nicotine has similar effects on your heart/ blood pressure(did not state the degree of risk for chantix)

If you can go without hurting yourself or others it might actually be safer.

lol thats awesome... i took chantix for awhile, stopped taking it after like 2 weeks but still ended up quitting for 2 months. i remember seeing the lawyer type commercials for it where they ask if you had any of these side affects to join into a lawsuit

This came from a publication reviewing the FDA announcement on the subject.

I think one of the big arguments against vaping is that with nicotine still being an option, heart problems are still a concern. True. But the alternative doesn't seem to eliminate the risk. That's not something obvious. I know smokers who are weighing their options to try to quit. They should be aware of this.
