Also, The LUC v4 is downright cheap right now.
$26 currently here:
Mod Battery Chargers – ElectronicStix.Com

I have a LUC V2. It is a good dependable charger. I would expect the V4 is a good performer also.

My Nitecore I4 is slow to charge, does not have adjustable charge rates, no voltage readout and is very cheaply built compared to my LUC.

Efest LUC is a good choice, and I neverh ad issues out of my nitecore.

Infact I thought nitecores were highly recommended <_<

I bought my Nitecore I4 based on the positive feedback on these forums. I don't regret the purchase, It charges OK. But,

If I were going to buy another 4 bay charger I wouldn't buy the nitecore again. For the money it really isnt that great compared to MY LUC, or Xtar chargers.

same here.

i have the vp2, vp4, luc 4 bay, i4 and i2.

my i4 now only charges AAA and AA batteries.
my i2 is my car charger.

the other three are staples at home or at work. they're much more accurate, faster when needed and the sliders actually work. not to mention the other fancy doo dad features... and you rarely, if ever hear of one of them failing... especially catastrophically.

Another vote for the Xtar VP2.

Had the display fail on my first one within the first week of ownership, but was replaced at no cost by RTDVapor where I purchased it. Even with the screen not working it still charged my batteries just fine. Love the adjust-ability, the fact it comes with a car adapter and that the charger feels physically solid (not flimsy or plasticky).

Current one has been working great for several months.

i did a good amount of research and came to the conclusion that the xtar vp2 is hands down the best charger, why?

+its like the pila but you dont need spacers
+algorithm charging like the pila, it will never charge past 4.20 volts
+you get a digital reading of your volts, very handy to check your battery too
+you get three modes of charging, .25a/.5a/1amp, i recommend .25amps for best battery life, but it will take longer to charge
+option to charge 26650 batterys if in the future you get a 26650 mod
++price dropped from $50 to 35, it is a steal really
+in the event you have more than 2 batterys you need to charge, just get another one, dont get the 4 bay chargers, they are not as good as two bay chargers

get it, you'll be glad you did, dont cheap out on a charger, buy the best

I still need to order batteries and charger for the new mod. I hate being poor and having to buy everything separte transactions. :( But the Xtar is defintly going to be on the list but it is a matter of finding it locally so i can have that day with the batteries for my MOD I hate waiting for Vape mail. No patience. lol
