How about a piece of advice that isn't just "go buy the really cool really expensive ecig and then you wont ever have any more problems"?

My suggestion, get a USB passthrough for your ecig of choice. There cheap and some of them have internal batteries so they don't have to be plugged in to be used.

The charger on my 510 kit killed both of my batteries within days of arrival. I was very glad that I had a USB passthrough to hold me over until the batteries and charger could be replaced under warranty.

Get an ecig that doesn't need a model specific charger, like a screwdriver or prodigy or GG. They use cr123s that can be recharged in a dealextreme 12.00 charger and the charge lasts for days.

Sorry didnt really answer your question, but I had the same problem with my first ecigs.

otakueric has working equipment, and needs only a charger. So the answer is to throw what he has away, spend $100+, and he still has to buy a charger for the expensive one? That doesn't make sense to me.

thanks guys, i cleaned it off just now, still no charge.
it IS a screwdriver type, it is the two piece with the cartomizers. i bought them from ecigscanada, ill have to do some research on which chargers to get.

someone mentioned i could get them from vaporking, does he still do business?

That was me. I'm not familar with vaporking. You mentioned you got your stuff from them, and I just suggested to see them for a replacement. Didn't know they might be gone now.

I know where you are coming from. It's interesting that approximately 95% of all the "I have a problem" posts are with the PV's that look more like the real thing with the small batteries and screw-in chargers and auto batteries. Even the pass-throughs rarely hold up without the wire breaking. On the opposite side of the equation, the majority of the "I'm so happy" posts are from the owners of the premiere devices such as the Screwdriver, Prodigy, etc. And yet, most of the time, those who provide advice on how to make these little PV's work, usually make it seem like it is user error. "you aren't holding it right, you aren't inhaling properly, you need to practice in front of a mirror, don't drip on the atomizer, you put in too much liquid and flooded the atomizer, you take too many drags on it, you have to let it rest for a half hour, etc, etc".

You never see anyone needing to have a 10 page check off list (I know, slight exaggeration) before they can vape with a Screwdriver or Prodigy, etc. Why is that??
