which specific models are you comparing? I can tell diff between apples but cannot do the same for apples and oranges

Definitely the Nitecore with Ultrafire batteries that holds 1200mah vs stock of 700mah
Don't use ultra fire bateries. Worse batteries your can get. 1200 mah is bull...., don't get taken in. Use aw imrs red batteries.
im currently using AW Red batteries and its working great till my capalang charger died on me.. ordered nitecore intellicharger and currently waiting for it to arrive..

To top, there are reviews all around hammering down on Ultrafire Batts. (Just Google It.)
I've personally tried, and dumped it after a week.
Oh no, the supplier did mention that it was a new 'revision', hopefully it isn't crap that they're telling me...

I did saw that the so called revision aren't much the difference. But again it varies on luck. Good luck man.
When it comes to batts, better don't rely on luck...
May be off-topic, but the batts in my china-tablet went kaboom a couple of months back.
Not going to be a pretty sight, if the same happens to the batts in your PV.

Anyone tried the panasonic NCR18650 batteries before? I bought one locally and am liking it so far as it holds its charge quite well..only thing is i tried looking for it's max amp limit and not able to find it >.<
Oh about chargers..definitely nitecore i2..cos that's what i'm using and it's definitely faster to charge with than the tr-001 which i used before i bought the nitecore.

Actually the panasonic battery i bought is actually unprotected..after i done some thorough research..it's the one here 3100mAh Panasonic 18650 Rechargeable Li-ion Battery NCR18650A Cell Made in Japan
