Charging a battery

Hi, I have a Centaurus Q200 mod with VTC 6A Battery 3.6V (18650), The devices come with USB Type-C Port and the cable but no adapter. Can I charge it directly to the mod using Adapter from my phone charger that have Output 5V 1A?

Oh so I can charge it safely with any adapter?
I did some googling before asking about that here, why most people answer that charging a 3.6V/3.7V battery with 5V charger is shouldn't be done/dangerous?

Your best option is to purchase an external charger.

I believe it being 1A is the safety threshold. If I’m not mistaken, most external chargers have that.

FWIW... I've never used USB charging with Mods that use External Batteries.

Most folks recommend using external battery chargers over charging via USB.

Can one charge a mod via USB? Sure.

Is it worth it? No.

Why? Eventually you may run into a situation where the USB connection on a mod Fails. It's not worth it, IMO.

We would recommend using a dedicated battery charger for any vape with a removable battery, as they have the best-dedicated protection circuits to prevent your batteries from being overcharged, and will charge your batteries in a way to ensure best overall lifespan.

I would Strongly consider, and recommend, purchasing an External Charger for your Batteries.

You should be fine for now, but as SMT said, invest in a dedicated external charger. They’re not that expensive.
