I recommend NOT using a PC usb port. In the event of failure, you could potentially lose a perfectly good computer.

I am using only PC (but not a laptop) for charging istick 30. I can vape while charging. I think this "do not charge from PC" thing is for older computers.

Ummm...

And when catastrophic failure?

Then older PCs represent a much smaller financial loss.

Your loss, not mine.

But hopefully if we don't promote it, just your loss or no loss at all.

Catastrophic failure? Sure, it can happen. Lightening strike, meteorite, unhappy wife...
However I will continue to use my PC for charging my iStick an vaping, it is too handy not to do it.
Disclaimer: if a manual of your mod says "do not charge and vape", then do not vape while charging.

Unknowingly plugging in one too many items into the same bus line.

Failed capacitor or resistor on the motherboard at the wrong time.

Cheap chinese QC rears it's ugly head.

A little more likely in certain circles. (Have you met my wife?)

Not only do nitecore chargers cut off at 4.2 they also automatically lower charge rate when getting close to 4.2.
Ive seen it go from 500 to as low as 20 thats why the final stretch takes the longest.
I usually discharge to about 3.8 and it charges relatively quick, never timed it though.
Its pointless for me to use a 4bay charger i can usually charge 2 sets while sitting on 2 cells.
Remember even though its an advanced charging system you shouldnt use batts straight off the charges, give it some time to simmer.

All lithium Chargers should use a constant current constant voltage algorithm.

Any decent charger will cut off charging and trickle charge to maintain voltage when the charge cycle is complete.
