Travel and Vaping Charging batteries in China

I'm an American who will be traveling in China.

I know I need a plug to charge my e-cig battery, but will I need a power converter?

Can I just get a plug that fits Chinese wall sockets and has a USB port?

Google search turned up a lot of information. I would think someone on the forum would know whether you need a power converter or just a Chinese USB wall wart.
