i got my batteries in today. want to get some proto board to make up a central power management or such. ill either have to use jumpers or make a double side board with ground on the back side. im thinking jumpers... dont know about making my own PCBs yet. looked at the software, and not something i want to learn yet.
well here is my idea

i think they are unprotected, so i want to use a zener diode. what ratings should i look for? im thinking 3.3v, but all the ones im finding are seem to be rated too low
the idea for that board is to keep it all modular. id like to be able to undo the harness and swap batteries out down the road. or if i bread a micro usb plug, unplug that, put a new one in and tack it back in.

ive had my fun playing and all, now its time to make a real mod
