So,

I'm workin with the DNA12 board and the provided charger. I'm not able to get the form factor I want in a single cell battery so I'm lookin at running them in parallel. With a regular set of Lions I wouldn't care because I could just pop em up and stick them in the charger individually but I'm planning on using the charging board that evolv sells to charge the batteries and make it an enclosure. given that scenario am I an idiot? ;)

Basically i need to know if the charging circuits will support charging a multi-cell lipo pack as long as they're in parallel. What I know about batteries tells me that it's just going to see them as a single 3.7v cell but when I research parallel charging for LIPOs I see a bunch of crap about balancing the cells and special chargers, yada yada yada. I'm obviously going to match the batteries but I don't want to have to have 2 charging circuits or a balancing circuit, etc in there.

Beyond that if running 2 in parallel is safe and the charging circuit should be ok, does that mean 'any' number of batteries in parallel would be the same? like if I wanted to run 4 or more?

Shower me with knowledge oh wise modders. Integrated batteries is a somewhat new area for me.

match the batteries. all the same mAh, all the same capacity, all the same brand if you can. If you're wanting to get a higher mAh in a PCC, I'd just get a bigger single cell though. I'm specifically working towards a hand friendly mod, not a charger for the mod so my form factor drives me away from the bigger mAh lipo shapes.

That said, after doing more research, it appears that as long as you keep all the batteries the same you shouldn't have an issue. My "docking station" for my mod is gonna probably be 2 5000mAh cells.
