do you need to do anything special to run batteries in parallel (such as the circuitry inside a laptop battery pack)? thanks. i have made quite a few mods using 14500's, 18650's, cell phone batts., passthroughs, even a couple VV's, also a couple tank mods, and light-o-mizers, but now i want one with parallel batteries.

That's the only way to go with 14500s, especially for any of the LR offerings out there.

Many advantages. Just as easy and cheap to make as a one cell mod, higher initial loaded volts, longer vape times and you won't be prematurely aging your batteries.

That one's getting one of the mini USB chargers I got.

Loaded volts with a 1.5Ω dual coil.

Trust me that ain't gonna happen with one 14500.

Liking the DCs. Will knock off another quicky, this time with a deeply recessed connector for the new 3.5ml DCs for a nice shirt pocket PV.

Keep in mind polarity is a non-issue. I chose the end slots cuz of the way the cells point, no reason to swap out connectors.

This box is switched on the negative, so just take that wire (if you are particular you can replace with a thicker gauge) over to the neg of the opposite cell then to your switch, then to the center contact of your connector. The two top positives get soldered to the shell.

These finishing washers are always a good idea, no so much as a juice well (not much capacity, they do act as a diverter to keep juice out of the box) but as a heat sink and to strengthen that joint at the flimsy plastic top. Work the hole carefully till you get a nice press fit.

FWIW the basic black boxes are much stronger than the brittle clear/colored translucent ones.
