Charging case & manual batteries

Ok - maybe a dumb question, but how far do you dare screw in the battery in the charging case?

I have manual batteries & on 2 of them I can't screw the battery in so that the button is not depressed. I don't want to break anything.

Not dumb at all I have same inconvenience with one of my manuals. I don't know of easy fix, I just deal with it trying to avoid having to charge that batt on the go

I have one that I have to give a little extra tweak to get the button on top.

I think you would need to stop when the shoulder of the battery is tight against the shoulder of the PCC connector. Much more than that would not be good.
