Charging CR2s

Well I got to work today and found that I left a pair of CR2s on charge all weekend. I work four tens so they had been charging for three full days. They didn't blow up or burn down the building. They read around 3.8v after resting all day though. Now those is going to be a fully charged set of batteries there.... But, I'm kinda afraid to use them now though. They might blow up in my face.... What do you think?

Does the charger have overcharge protection? If so, I would think you would be OK.

Keep an eye on them vapn, even when the lights go green they still trickle charge, it may have reduced the life of your cr2's

Mine go to 3.8v fully charged with no problems so would not worry useing cheap Since charger for cr2's output is 2x3.7v batts allways at 3.8 fully charged been useing for months with no problems hope this helps alay your fears

It happens to me sometimes. There is no problem Vapn, you can still use them without a special concern.

This also shows a good point as well.... A good idea to keep track of batteries is to number them with a marker. This way after a bunch of times using them you will know which is oldest, worn ect. I do this to prevent mix up on what batteries are charged and ones that need to be charged~

Yeah, Ive done it for about 36hrs...by accident...and didnt have a problem....I think you will be ok...

Yea I used them today with no problems. They actually lasted me most of the day at work with the i7. I would say they were FULLY charged. hahhahah....
