The battery should flash when you have to charge it, but you can charge it any time before that.

Wipe the threaded end then screw slowly into the charger just enough to get the charger end's LED to turn red OR the LED on the end of the battery flash (the charging cable's LED should turn red after that)

If it's a 2-piece charger then pay attention to the LED on the piece the battery screws into. When that turns steady green or steady blue, the battery is done charging. I also charge slim ecig batteries overnight - any decent slim ecig batteries protection circuits and know when to stop charging.

yea I think I am going to have to buy more batteries, right now I have 2, but I am charging them every 2 days or so.

Hey Houston girl! How ya' doin'?

You'll likely get very tired of charging those wee little batteries all the time. If and when you do, look at higher mAh battery devices. The higher the mAh number, the longer (generally) it will last between charges.

Jesika - it is always good to have backups. You have 2 ecig models so that is a backup itself. But it's good to have a 3rd battery for whichever you depend on the most. A spare charger cable too.

Re Smoke 51 Trio - I think that is like Blu (reverse polarity 510-threaded). So if you ever get an 510 batteries, the charger will look the same but label them! Never charge Smoke 51 in the 510's charger cable and vice versa because if they are reverse polarity then their charging cables will fry/melt each other's batteries.

Thanks! carpedebass --> What do you suggest? I am a newbie when it comes to all this stuff. Thanks :)

Well, I'm not gonna suggest anything until you answer a question for me...

Please list in order of importance exactly what you want/need from a PV. In other words, TH, lung hit, taste, vapor production, size, style, etc...

I normally don't wait for my batteries to go dead before I swap them out. From what I've read, they'll last longer if they never reach their completely depleted state. So every day, I swap out, and any time I swap out, I recharge. Sometimes, if I'm vaping a lot and I'm home where it's convenient, I swap them out twice in a day.

I try not to leave them on the charger when I'm asleep or when I'm not at home.

TH is throat hit and is directly related to nic levels(and somewhat to heat level), lung hit is related to vapor production(and somewhat to heat level) and taste is, well, taste and everyone's is different...the veppo looks like a standard joye510 just rebranded with veppo's name...if so, better prices can be had from liberty-flights.com...with a std 510(veppo) you are limited to standard resistance cartos/attys ................

carpedebass ~ ok, well let's see...

taste, throat hit, and vapor are the most important. An easy draw is also important. I really like my style of the vEppo510. The style of my Smoke51 Trio is okay. BTW, what's "TH"?

Looks like MadJack answered your question. So my recommendation would be to get away from the small, analog looking pen style things. I assume you want function over style. The eGo (or clones such as the Riva, etc) are fatter batteries, but perform MUCH better than the small, analog looking things. The rule of thumb is that the more your PV resembles an analog, the worse it will perform.

I'd say go with a solid 510 threaded platform like the eGo or it's many, many clones for your everyday vape. The higher the mAh number (650, 1000, etc) generally means the longer the battery will perform between charging. So, go with the largest mAh battery you can handle until it just gets too large (physically) for your liking.

The reason I say stick with a 510 thread is that it is likely the best platform for being able to try many accessories with the batts. Lots of folks here love the Boge cartos, so you'll want to try those. Also the eGo Mega Dual Coil Cartos and Fluxomizers would be serious contenders for ya'!

For $29.95 you can get a Riva 510 starter kit that contains two complete Riva 510 ecigs with 750mah batteries (5 to 6 hours heavy vaping between charges), a cone (dresses up the Ecig), and a charger, along with a nice leatherette box.

The Riva 510 is a 3.7v version of the Ego style ecig (3.4v). It will accept any accessory with a 510 thread. That opens up a multitude of options that you will see discussed here on ECF.

Click the 20% off icon at the top of the page to get the $29.95 price.
