Hmm.... the button led on the Twist shouldn't stay on. It stays on with the Vision Spinner batts - only one I've seen that does. I'd check to see if the button is stuck first. Then if it's a Joye eGo-c Twist, you could try the 5 click on/off - that can tend to reset it. When charging it should act just like the eGo-c - the charger light is green, you put the battery on to the charger - just far enough to where the battery led flashes 4 or 5 times then goes out (don't over tighten) and the charger led goes to red. If that isn't happening and you just bought the Twist recently, I'd contact the vendor - after trying the 5 click on/off trick.

I have the eGo type batteries(not VV) that came with the CE4 kit and the LED button is lit while charging. I thought that was odd at first. Now, I'm pretty sure these are knockoff batteries - no logo or anything on them, just plain. So while charging, the charger light is red(blinks green) and the battery LED is lit. When charge is complete, battery LED blinks and goes off and charger light goes solid green.

I also have a SmokTech Winder VV battery and the LED button is lit while charging also and charger light is red(blinks green). But when charge is complete the battery LED blinks and goes off but the charger light continues to blink red/green for some time. If I leave the battery on the charger the light eventually goes solid green.

Is this just the difference in batteries? I'm using the same charger for both batteries - the one that came with the eGo-CE4 kit (4.2v/420mA).

I think its a difference in batteries. I have a Joyetech Twist, knockoff twist, Joyetech Ego and knockoff ego. The Joyetechs button light goes off when charging (after blinking 5 times or so). Whereas the button lights on the knockoffs stay on throughout charging until the batteries are charged. I'm assuming they are all working fine since my house hasn't burned down yet *knock on wood*.

I too was skeptical at first with the lights staying on but once I shut them off and plugged them back in with no change in the button light's function I felt better about it. Btw, I have two different chargers and they both seem to have the same effect.

Good to know. It appears that it is just difference in batteries, seeing as how you have both genuine and knockoff types.

I was of the same mind, "well nothing has blown up and the batts seem to work so I guess it's okay".

I see this thread is a few months old but I can contribute a little.
I have a knock off ego c twist and the first two times I charged it the charger light blinked green and was red the whole time with the LED on the ego staying lit. When it was full charged the LED on the ego went off and the charger went solid green. The last time (most recent charge) I charged it the charger light on the LED went off but now the charger light isnt staying solid green and it continues to blink green while being red. I left it on a little longer (like 4 more hours and the charger never went solid green but the LED on the ego was off). I decided to just take it off and use it lol. My device did get a charge though. Weird
