Charging question noob

So I got my eleaf 30w I was recommended ad my first mod, I live in the uk but my mod came with a I think it's USA wall plug a 2pin, but I got no usb? So I was wandering I have a iPhone charger that fits ( I haven't attempted to charge it just incase) is this safe and I have a adapter so I can plug 2 pin power plug into a socket that turns it into a 3pin in plug (if that wasn't to Mumbo jumbo for you) can u use my apple usb or is this no advised as I have no time to get a usb so would have to order it and I'm also away from home due to work

Check the specifications on the Apple charger, if it is 500mah to 1000mah per hour (0.5 or 1Amp) output current you should be just fine, if it a 1.5 to 2amp, no good, I do not think the iStick can accept that much charging current like the older Egos.

One choice is to get yourself a USA mains adapter. 99p homebargains or up to £8.99 from your friendly rip-off supermarket (the usually suspects will gladly take your cash).

Personally, I wouldn't ever charge anything with iPhone adapters. They are specially designed.

In theory, it will work, but if something went wrong, you'd be cross with yourself.

Most iPhone stuff is 2.1amp, which is too much. You could use most smartphone chargers, the lower the output the better. The mod will regulate the power draw 99.9/100.

So - it's a yes and a no from me.

I always used USA adapters myself... or a different combination of mains adapter and usb lead.

The output should be printed on the adapter itself, generally a label or molded printing on the module for the wall or power outlet on the side of the prongs, this is where the UL and other such specifications are labelled.

Are you certain that you didn't get a usb? Usually where the wire connects to the wall wart is a USB connector?

Not a good idea. If it's a 2A charger, and your chip isn't playing nicely with it, you'll end up with some very serious issues.

I suggest finding the exact charger that eLeaf recommends and sticking with that.

Guys, I have the wall adapter, but I don't have the USB for my eleaf but have a Polaroid iPhone 5 charger, I can't see any numbers so, I wanted to know if it's okay to put my USB into my eleaf and into the eleaf wall plus

If you go to your local vape store they should sell a wall plug usb adaptor that will be safe enough for your device, mine did

Honestly it probly not advised but I know with my sigelei 30w box mod I have used any USB chargers including my wife's galaxy charger

Tbf it is just so the current doesn't fry your mod. The plug that was sold to me runs at 500mA with an output of DC5V so if this helps...

The apple small connector looks like its the same size but they aren't the same. Apple has proprietary plugs at least here in the states.

You need two things a wall plug compatible with your plugs that connects a standard USB. Then you need a USB to micro USB cord.

I think when he said apple charger I think he meant the plug bit as apposed to the lead but you are totally right, you won't be able to use any apple lead.
