Hey fellow Wisconsinite!

Your link doesn't do anything when clicked. Is it for charging an MVP?

Someone posted a photo (in the MacGyver thread) of a charging stand he/she bought from a local dollar store. It was made for charging an Android phone or tablet, not sure exactly. The poster said it had a male micro USB plug that had to be turned 180 degrees so an MVP would charge on it. It had a cable on it that plugged into a USB port.

I looked for one online but the ones I found were more than I wanted to pay. It would be fairly easy to make something with a block of wood and a male USB to male micro USB cable. They are a couple bucks on ebay.

It seems if one were building a mod, it would be easy enough to build a cradle and have connections. A positive and a negative with charger in the stand or in the mod...careful attention to polarization and protection. Likewise the mod might need protection on the input side. Maybe a full-sized USB connection(?)...

I wish mods would come with inductive charging. I have a Sonicare electric toothbrush that's been running on the same battery for over ten years. Use it, put it back in its charging dock and it charges up. No connectors to worry about. It would add to the cost but the battery life would probably increase substantially.
