Charging through 220 volt wall socket

Help. I live in the US where the voltage is 110, and traveling to the Middle East where the voltage is 220. I can get an adapter to plug my charger into the wall, but the adapter will not reduce the voltage to 110. Am I safe plugging into 220v? The charger connects to my battery through a USB port. Thanks in advance.

It's likely to be OK, but your wall plug should say on it what input it accepts. For example, mine says it accepts input of 100-240V. In fact most of my chargers for other items say this too so hopefully it's a worldwide standard and yours will be suitable.
