How long should it take to recharge an 18650 battery? I've had one on charge for six hours now and the charger LED is still glowing red.

What kind of battery is it? How low did it drain before you put it on there? I usually run my 18650's down to about 3.2amps and it takes usually 3-4 hours to get a full charge. That's on an AW IMR 18650.
That is a lot longer than it should be taking. Take it off charge and check it. See if the t is perhaps fully charged and the problem is with your charger or if it is partially charged which could indicate a problem with either the battery or the charger.
It really depends on the charger and the battery.
My Trustfire TR-001 takes around 12 hrs to charge a 3100mah AW I have.
My xtar WP2-II charges my Panasonic 2250mah in under 3 hrs.....

It's an EH IMR 18650. I took it off the charger and popped in my other one. It charged in a couple of hours so I suspect perhaps the battery is going bad.
That's really hard to say without knowing the charge status before and after charging the battery.
I suspect you're using a cheap charger as well.
It may not be up to snuff.
