Sorry for the poor quality video and language. I hope you all get the idea. :D

I used the following in the video:

1x Stanley's 3mm precision screwdriver (swivel-head)
66-052.jpg

1x Wire to Wire terminal block

Hello and welcome to the forum angah. Glad to have you here!:)

Great video and very ingenious use of electronic parts!

I would have never thought to do that. I'm don't have full use of both my hands so coil winding is very difficult for me (my local vape shop builds most of my coils for free). Your video will help me immensely. Now I just need to dig through all my parts drawers.:)

I can only watch videos on mute -- what's the white thing that you took apart for parts?

hi bwh, it's a wire to wire terminal block. I cut and only use a piece of it. it has different sizes measured in amps. I'm not sure what amps were mine.

But it fit loosely to my 3mm stanley's screwdriver with swivel-head handles and give enough room for Kanthal A1 26awg to slide in and through the exposed hole.

I'm glad that I came up with an idea that will help fellow vapers like you build their own closed contact coil with confidence using only a cheap to no cost parts. :D
