cheap drip shield option!

hello,

I have found an alternative to a drip shield!
Well i kind of stumbled upon this one! I work as a automotive technician in a tire center and we use chrome capped valve stems for tires. its a simple sleeve that slides over the black rubber neck of the stem.
This chrome sleeve works great as a drip shield connecting in between the mod and atty!

not sure if there are any other options for cheapy drip shields but thats my take!

I think that is what everyone is wondering....how does it fit/look. A pic of the application would be great.

Hard to tell much because of the pic size, but what I'm wondering is how you seal off the base to contain the liquid that leaks out of the atomizer?

The side that goes down toward the connection is tapered so it tightens snugly between your mod and atty

ive also notice if you take one of the rubber boots that come on cartos and cut off the bottom and slide it between the atty or carto and the valve sleeve it will center it perfectly with no wobble u just have to loosen the atty just a bit for better air flow

I think this is very clever. Even though i've got just about every color drip shield, I may have to have my husband get me some of these.

I'm still trying to Tweek it a bit more it'll leak with certain attys but if you use adapters just put it between the atty and adapter works everytime !

Hey, nice find, GTItuner! Those would look great on a custom mod!
Now if only I could find a chrome sleeve that would fit over my plastic boxmod...
