Like I said, I used to smoke ~15 cigs a day for about 11 years, but there were days that I've smoked 1 or 2 cigs all day, and I've never felt such craving...

How did u calculate how many puffs from e-cig is comparable to a regular cig? It depends on so many factors such as which regular cig, what king of cartridge, how big is each puff, etc.... For example, I smoke water pipes from time to time, and found out that I take much bigger puffs than most people...

Maybe its too soon to tell, but I find the e-smoking to be very addictive. I don't even want a regular cig anymore (I still have some in a pack next to me), but I feel that I want to e-smoke almost all the time. Like I said, I'm limiting myself to 12 puffs per hour, and its not easy. I even grew fond of the taste, which I didn't care for at first. I must say that's its very disturbing, I've never felt like that about regular cigs.
12 puffs an hour?
nothing to worry about mate...im a lost cause...i do about 12 puffs a minute...;)

latest reports say its roughly 1 cigarette puff equals 5 ecig puffs...on average.

and yes,it is a very addictive past time...but id rather do this than smoke...compared to smoking this is relatively harmless,IMO.

I think it's all relative, if you think you have a problem then you do. It's probably better to have a problem or habit with an ecig than with a cig. There are calculations somewhere to compare nicotine levels of cigs and ecigs but mostly it looks like guessing to me. If you can avoid using nicotine then that's your best option for avoiding long term dependence. vaping zero nic. will satisfy cravings if you let nic. get out of your system for a few days.

Edit
Oops! Too slow again. This was a reply to Kramerica.

I'll do that Smokey Joe, thanks.

The one I'm talking about was edited after nearly an hour, not ten minutes. By then the thread had moved on, there was a reply to your post and you altered the course of the thread. It wasn't small changes, it was an essay.

I can't go back to look at your original post. For some reason I thought it was possible to do that on this forum. The problem with people being able to edit posts is that they can completely distort what's going on, I really don't like it, I'd prefer to live with typos and grammar mistakes for the sake of security and authenticity.

the hour was the ps.. it is a ps.. it is just a semi humerus post kate not a f-cking legal ducument.. i write too much and take too long to do it.. sorry dudess but if u dont like my posts u dont have to read em.. u also dont have to play nit picks and word games.. so.. leave off please..

and if your typos and spelling was as bad i mine u wouldnt let it stand.. i recon i have typing dyslexia.. he he

Kate, to solve that problem, quote the post when you reply. That way, everyone can know what was the original post and exactly what you replied to.

The problem is that I do want to read them. I can't very well go back and read old posts all the time because you can't be bothered to have the curtesy to draw attention to new content.

what u really ought to worry about is that anyone with administrative privileges can edit your post without trace.. so never trust a word of what u read..

I'm not at all worried about the modding on this board Trog. I don't intend to worry about it either until there is some proper evidence of something sinister going on.

Conspiricy theories just make people nervous and paranoid. I've had enough paranoia in my life, I'm not going looking for trouble.

The fact is though that I saw with my own eyes that your post dramatically changed with no notice or warning after I replied to the original. That does seem sinister to me and I'm not prepared to overlook it no matter how much you insult me or try to deflect attention.

All I've been trying to say to you Trog is that editing your posts doesn't just impact on you, it affects everybody else whether they've read your post or not already. I think it's unethical to do that and you should be made aware of that. I would ask you nicely not to do that to me again ... but I can't be bothered to ask anything of you. If there's nothing in it for you you won't be interested in making things better for other people.

first kate i did not dramatically alter the content of my post.. u are mistaken.. i simply tidied it up.. i also added a couple of ps comments.. why do i add ps comments.. well its to say its been done afterwards.. i could simply rewrite the main post and not add a ps comment.. i dont..

i take care with my words i have to.. it is possible to switch off the edit option in the forum software.. this is secure but not convenient.. the compromise is the time and date stamp..

i often misread someones comment.. a lot of folks do misunderstand my meaning.. sometimes it does need carefull reading not to..

but this forum does have too few members with genuine technical knowledge of the product under discussion.. with most forums their are enough such people to establish fact from fiction..

now i think i have genuine technical knowledge about e smoking.. in short i know how the product works and how it does it what it does.. i know that relatively speaking i am an expert..

but how does anybody else know this in a world where everyones opinions is considered of equal worth.. in a world where everyones opinion is of equal worth.. everyones opinion is of no worth..

forums are a bad place to dispense valid information.. i am a fool for attempting to do this.. but forums are another of my addictions.. one i would like to cure myself of.. he he

For someone who claims to be so intelligent you show a complete lack of brainpower when it comes to having a conversation on a forum.

If you cared about what you were saying to other people you would make an effort to say what you mean properly in the first place. Going back afterwards and pretending you made a mistake or omission is just sloppy and not the behaviour of someone smart.

PS
You patronise people by assuming you are the only person who can recognise valuable contributions. If you were worthy of respect you would earn it ... your own sentiments. People can read and make up their own minds about different opinions. Everyone is different and we all have our own criteria for judging the value of contributions. Everyone is equal here, you make your own reputation. Thank goodness for free speech.

He's being a pillock more like.

His habits are not necessarily healthy, I will not stand by and let him piss all over me.

Why are you telling me to chill Kit? If I was any more chilled I'd be catatonic. I'm sure Trog doesn't need you to intervene on his behalf, he's perfectly capable of patronising people on his own.

Im not doing anything on his behalf and im not patronising you either, just telling you from experience of talking to him over the past few months thats all.

Hi Kate,
Thanks for your comments, too which I agree. I learned from my first post addressed to Trog alot about him. In trying to offer him help I was labelled a liar and a Sedansa plant. It's his way or the highway. Thankfully their are many other friendly and knowledable people here willing to help out without the attitude. Probably best to just ignore him.

Regards,
Mark

Go stick your head up your .... Trog.

I will not go away, I like it here. Most of the people on this forum are nice. You are a bigot and have no place in civilised company.

Since you won't be wasting your time chatting with me anymore then I suppose I should say so long and have a nice day.

Pillock.
