Im seeing all these realllly cheap mods for like 20 bucks on fast techs website and all the ones at the vape shops I go to are like 150 dollars,

I figure this is because there knock offs but what I was wondering is if they are still good or are they pieces of ....?

I got a miniprotank2 with a vision spinner right now and I reallly want to make the move to a dripper and have a nice looking mod but I dont have the money to be dropping 200 dollars at my local vape shop

Would it be a step up to buy a cheap set up from fast tech for a mod and dripper or would I be wasting my money on crap

What is skus? So if I pick one that has like 300 good 5 star reviews I should be good right?

And thats my other question^^
Do most of those mods co.e with 510 threading
I would love to be able to use the clearomizers I already have along with a dripper atty I will buy when I get the mech mod clone..
Are most rebuildable atomizers 510 threading?

Wow thats such awesome news for me man, I cant believe the difference in price without having to give up much on quality.

Im deff ordering some .... asap

Does anyone else out there have any info on some really good clones that are well priced
The Astro clone with a nano Kayfun is what goes in my pocket these days and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Only downside to it is people constantly asking me about it. Literally. You pull this thing out and it becomes the star of the show.

When you buy stuff off of FT, read the review and forum entries. There's a good community there. People share lots of infos and you should really read it as there's a high variance in quality with all the clones. Some of them are outright junk. Others (like the Astro I linked) easily rival and sometimes even outperform authentic mods.

Rj134 thats funny bc that was one of the ones I was lookin at, thanks for the suggestion and good info on quality, I apprecaite it a ton, now I was kinda worried about going from vv to a mech mod bc I am worried about my juice always burning

With my vv I always gota change my voltage with diff juices so they dont taste burnt some can vape at higher some lower

With a mech mod I can only run at 1 voltage so wouldnt I have to change the coil everytime I change juices?

I've ordered a few mods from fasttech, which I haven't had any problems with. My 4nine clone seems perfect,(at least for me) ha I suggest reading the forums/reviews to determine pros and cons that others have found. It helps to do your research on anything u plan on buying, clone or authentic.

For the juices it depends on your setup, you can simply swap wicks if you like the build you already have.
There are "kicks" available which can turn mechs into variable devices.

Be careful w fasttech check skus and reviews. I have some with horrible buttons, paper thin engravings, short 510 pins and Wells(that don't work with a lot of 510 rdas) etc etc. But usually you can find a bunch of great stuff jus do your research.

Definitely.
Dont go by the amt of reviews...go by how good the reviews are...that way you can get something newer (newer stuff has less reviews)...

As for recommendation, check out the 4Nine. NOT the "1:1" version... There's Brass, copper brushed, and SS + copper...those 3 are all the "best" imo..

I use nothing but fasttech mods, and i love them, remember they are JUST metal tubes and what youre paying extra to get is the original manufacturers labour and better quality control (NOT actual quality but the control of this)
From fasttech you might get a scratched mod with lesser smooth threads... But the conductivity is the same if the metals are, no matter what anyone will tell you... Its the laws of physics dictating the conductivity NOT the maker, so a 1/1 clone from fasttech will work as the original

Depends on your preference and juice, but yeah, in a way you've got it right.
With a mech you're going to have to settle on a specific watt range. Be aware that as the battery voltage drops off from 4.2 volts fully charged your wattage goes down, too. So the experience is a bit different. There's no regulation on a mech.

You can get a kick module, though. It essentially turns your mod into a VW device. It's a bit more cumbersome to use than, say, an MVP but it works fine.

Same here. I just did my research on each one. I have 10 mech mods from Fasttech and each one works perfectly. I also bought 90% of my attys from there with no issues as well.

In the end it's the same thing, would you rather buy a coffee at the walmart cafe for a buck or at the starbucks for 6 bucks? The mods will work the same, some may take a lil bit of tinkering but at the end of the day it's a tube, a switch and a 510 connector. If you need to have that logo and feeling of self worth by having the name brand then go for it, me I just want to drink my coffee.

I detect the need for a lot more reading (and learning) before you are ready for a mechanical.
Learning about advanced ways to vape is a process ... not an event. So take your time and enjoy the ride because it's a fun one.

So ask away with your questions:
Yes, most mods and toppers have 510 connections.
Clearos are prone to shorting, so while they will work on a mechanical, they're really not a good idea.

    ^^^^^^^^ this ^^^^^^^

Stepping into mechanical mods is more than just acquiring one!

A person must become their own safety protection. None is built into a mechanical mech.

    This is important!

I have three clone mechs bought from FastTech at an average of 20$ and one original Raijin mech retailing at 125$ I won on vapers TV. I love the Raijin but honestly the only discernible difference is slightly smoother threads.

If somehow all four were to disappear and someone gave me 200$ to soften the blow, it would be off to FastTech I go. That is provided my regulated mods are still with me.
