Both of these are clones from angelcigs.com and they work great. The one on the left is a 26650 Stingray that I just got today. The rda is a stillare clone. The one on the right is a King II that I also got from Angelcgs. The tank on top is a nautilus that I picked up at my local B&M.

Maybe check out 101vape, I ordered a hcigar m16 clone and everything seems to be great about it also they have a kayfun for $16 that to my untrained eyes works great and you don't have to wait forever to get your stuff. I also have a panzer clone from eBay that I got for 27 and my local b & m is selling the exact same clone for 75 I say just look around.

I got a 26650 Panzer from FT and it is one solid piece of work, smooth threads, great button action, well worth the money....

Same here, Love my 26650 Panzer from FT. It is now my main mech mod. Unless I want stealthy vape lol it's not great at that being that it's so big!

Thanks guys I really do apprecaite all the help and advice
I have to admit I am kinda jumpin in head first without testing the temp of the water here, but I have just fallen in love with vaping soo much and want to learn everything there is to learn about it.
I dont see myself actualy buying a mec mod for at least another month I just really want to do my homework on this before I do make the move.
And as many of you have pointed out I am still extremely new to vaping having bought my first starter kit less than a month ago but am loving every minute of it

I am so greatful to have found this online community of vapers and would really be lost without you guys and my learning curve would certainly be much slower.

I guess whats got me so eager is one one my buddies whos been vapin a while and who got me into it has a few mech and vv mods and it just tastes and rips so much better and harder than what I got going on now but I realize this is somthing that I got to ease into bc if I dont know what im doing I could be putting myself in danger
Again thank you all for your kindness and help!!

high end mechanical mods are so expensive because of the labor and time involved in the creation and manufacturing of them. cheap clones or cheaper mods are just as good (for the most part as long as you know that they are made with quality material like brass or copper or stainless steel) but are cheaper because they are mass produced in china and other countries without labor laws

If everything you order is in stock and actually ships next day. No they aren't that bad in my experience. I have placed a order of a few rda's two mechs and some driptips that were all listed as ships next day and they were at my door in 7days from the time i placed the order. The ones you have to place and forget about are the items listed as (ships in _ business days) those i have waited up to two months for.

If you choose fast tech, pay the buck and some change for china epacket or whatever it is, seems to be the fastest option. Also as mentioned, make sure fit says ships next day. I followed those two steps and got my product in my mail box in 8 days from when I paid for it. If you're impatient, check ebay (check manufacturer) or one of the sites mentioned toget it quicker, but for 10-20 bucks more

I would recommend if you are looking for an affordable mod setup, stick with an Igo 5 (I recommend a copper center post upgrade as well) and look for a clone that is either EHpro, HCigar, or Tobecco. Also just make sure to take the time to look up reviews on what clone you are planning to get because even though the listed above make quality clones they can still have wonky problems.
One last thing....spend the extra money on getting VTC4/VTC5 or Efest 35 amp

No one has given you a complete list of what you are going to need once you get a mech mod so here it goes:
Sony VTC batteries (there are others, but just get these for simplicity and safety)
Atty (FastTech Patriot is a good, big atty)
Mod (I'd say Copper Pegasus)
Wire (Start with 28g Kanthal)
Organic Cotton Balls
Various tools (tweezers, wire snips, mini-screwdrivers, etc)
Charger (Nitecore i4 or i2 is a decent cheap charger)
MULTIMETER or OHM READER!!! (Multimeter will also let you read battery voltage so you know when your battery is getting low, but you'll notice a drop in vapor production)

Don't let your batteries go below 3.6ish. I usually swap out at 3.7. That's what they read when I notice a change in vaping.
Mech mods turn into a hobby so be prepared to watch a lot of YouTube videos and spend more money than what you thought.

Haha oh I am sure I will end up spending a small fortune on this .... over the next year, thank you guys seriusly this thread is so much help to me and gettin a better understandin on taking my first steps into the mechmod world! I am deff guna go over all of your suggestions

I was lookin at my b and m and they had these golden patriots attys but they were like either 110 or 130 dollars, that seems high? I know they do charge a lot for there other product like there mini protank 2 coils are 15 bucks for a 5 pack!!! :0

So I guess my next question is, I know clone mods are all good If proper research is done but what about when I buy a atty
Will I want to put the extra money for a lgit one or are there good clones of those out there too bc I deff cant drop a c note on a atty at the moment

Personally all i have are clones and they have worked well for me. I use Patriots a TOBH Atty for dripping and kayfun lite's version one and two's daily. (yes i like switching flavors up) for me the 7 buck patriot has worked beyond my expectations (after drilling the air holes out) currently i have three in my rotation. Some will disagree but for me the clones have worked great easy to build and no issues.

If it's a genuine Patriot, I'd say the price is reasonable for a B&M. On line the Patriot is about $70 and the gold plated version is around $100, so a few bucks more in a shop isn't that out of line.

That being said, there are some good clones and some that have issues. Infinite, EHPro, and HCigar (just off the top of my head) make some pretty decent clones, and some are reportedly indistinguishable from the originals, and the parts in many cases are interchangeable with the genuine article.

As an alternative to clones (not that I'm trying to steer you away from them) take a look at some of the offerings from Youde Technology - their Igo line of RDAs has some real winners and the quality is pretty top-shelf.
