Cheaper authentic vs clone of an expensive device

Hey guys. Im a fairly seasoned sub ohm tank user, i run atfvr on an ipv3 li. Anyway, ive been wanting to move over to a dripper and was considering my options. I was trying to decide wether or not i should go with an authentic tsunami rda, or a high quality kennedy 24 clone. Thoughts?

what kind of car do you drive?? a Mercedes or a ford... it depends upon your preference of quality I suppose... both cars will get you from point A to B... I personally have no qualms with clones.. to me, they work and are affordable.

YMMV. Here is what I've been doing. I buy the authentic item first (if it is not sold out) and check it out. If the authentic item is sold out, I buy a knock off, and keep my eye open for newer items to become available from the original seller.

For things like tanks/rda/rta I've been buying the original item, test it and if I like it a lot, I buy 50/50 original/clone to reduce my costs. All the parts have to be interchangeable. That is a must.

This is where I believe you get what you pay for. I never buy a clone device, but there are some good quality clone tanks and rdas.

There are so many authentic drippers that are affordable and relatively cheap I buy authentic.

The quality of the clone rda's I have bought has been pretty lame. Alliance, mutation, Royal hunter, mako, doge are all less than $50. Some much less. The clones I have bought are always a little sloppy. Drip tip wiggles or cap is too loose. That pisses me off and I put them in the junk drawer.

The only clone I have liked was the plume veil.

Edit- however I am really digging my brass nemesis clone from hcigar

I buy clones first,, only 1to1 exact clones,, then if i like it, the authentic.
The 1to1 becomes a working parts bin..
