Hello all,

I am planning to buy a 510 starter kit, but since I am not sure I will like it (I already tried GreenSmoke but did not like it, there was not any sort of throat hit) I want to try it before buying. The best way seems to buy it from a seller who accepts returns for a refund.

So far I could find choicevapor and ecigexpress. They both have 30 days money back guarantee, but choicevapor is expensive comparing to others.

Actually I want to buy a kit from cignot, because they already have PCC's in them. But I could not see any satisfaction guarantee at their website.

What do you suggest? Thanks in advance...

With the fantastic prices at Cignot I don't think they could afford to give a money back guarantee based on whether you like it or not. They do replace defective items... and very quickly I might add!

I would go ahead and purchase from them and consider it a learning experience. The cost of a basic kit is less than a carton of cigarettes.

You might find that you need to experiment a little more with e-liquids to find one that gives you the throat hit you are looking for.

Good luck on your quest! ;)

Also, ponder not getting a money back guarantee.

Buy it from cignot and if you like it you got a deal. If you dont like it, sell it here on the classifieds and lose 5 or 6 bucks. thats a small price to pay to try something that may save your life....

+1 on cignot... They are fast, affordable and friendly.

Goodprophets.com...best prices around an never let me down

I second that. You couldn't ask for better customer service, or better yet, you couldn't ask for a better person to deal with.

I had a 510 kit go bad on me on my first vaping experience and Rob sent me a 901 kit in its place and I haven't looked back since.

Cignot has good prices on the starter kit, but they are currently out of stock. I just went there to purchase another, but no go :(

Cignot.com is way cheaper and they take credit cards.

Example:

Goodprophets.com

510 kit ..... $60.00

Cignot

510 Kit ..... 35.00 plus 5 shipping - $40.00

Once again, Cignot is showing out of stock. Their no box kit says limited qty, and although I'm sure they will continue offering it when they get more stock based upon how popular it has become, the OP may not want to wait until then. Orders coming in from China are unreliable right now as far as time frames, so they may be back in full swing tomorrow or it may be next week. Recommending them before they are re-stocked is doing no good.

I wouldn't worry about a money back guarantee. If you don't like it, clean out your atty's and I'll buy the 2 batteries and atty's off you for $25 + shipping if you don't like it.
This is just a random offer - that I will honor in the event you buy a 510 kit and don't like it - in the new member's forum. I'm sure you'd find a much better deal in the classifieds and swaps forum.

Basically, like it's been said many times in this thread - you really don't have much to lose, and the investment's not particularly high compared to the cost of analogs.

Madvapes has a 510 kit for 16.99, only 1 each atomizer and battery, shows in stock.
Sorry no link, I'm not up to 16 posts yet, working on it.

There's a thread in the e-cigarette supplier form I found on a search, "New Switches, Leds, Resistors added to the DIY Section" but you can just goto the site its www - madvaptes - com

Hey everyone! I looked at Cignot and they are only showing the $35? I ordered a $65 510 kit from them this weekend and then looked afterwards and the one I bought was gone. They also had a few other starter kits. Maybe I bought the last one? I haven't gotten it yet, but am so psyched to try it out! I read the guide for beginners and I think I want one with a larger battery life, but I am confused on all the batteries: which ones can fit which models, the voltage or whatever, all the batt mods, and which one would have the longest lasting battery life. So much to learn, but I still have to wade through this forum and find more info.

The heaven-gifts site has more adapters than I've seen before.

I'm pretty new to this too, 2 weeks or so now. I'm really happy having 2 sets of 2 batteries for my 510s, I always have 2 charged ;)

I started with Greensmoke too before I found this forum. They got me started on e-ciggs so I'm happy for that but they did not last long...I refilled cartomizers til they finally gunked up my auto batts (the only way they come) and shorted out... :(

I purchased and received a 510 based on reviews... overpriced from Totally Wicked US, luckily they're local so I was able to continue vaping uninterrupted...no smokes through the transition! I LOVE the 510, no comparison to Greensmoke if that helps...

Battery life short on 510 the only downside, just get extras for charging eventually and the Personal Charging Case (PCC).

Heavengifts is great for prices and reliable but expect a 2 week wait from China...there are a bunch of other vendors mentioned here that sell the 510's...

I've also been happy with the DSE801 penstyle for dripping e-liquid (carts don't work well) the batts last longer...

Within weeks I ordered a "Chuck" battery mod for battery life that will last 2-3 days...I'm extremely happy with that purchase but still use all 3 PV's as they "fit" in different places...

Bottom line: Don't give up, I think you'll like the 510, as others stated, it will sell fast here if vaping's not for you...you'll feel better and better and know you are being good to yourself getting off the smokes or at least cutting back! Enjoy the learning curve, it's worth it!!!

Cignot is great, but Rocky Mountain Vapor's $23 510 PCCs are even less expensive than Cignot's, and with free shipping.

GoodProphets still has very good prices on juice (and free shipping on $30+ orders), but their hardware has become relatively expensive, e.g., their 510 starter kit is $60 (without a PCC).

Madvapes has a 510 kit for 16.99, only 1 each atomizer and battery, shows in stock.

That is impressive. Bear in mind, however, that the MadVapes' kit has an automatic battery ... and, as you pointed out, includes only one batt and atty. If you add the cost of a $12 manual battery and $8 atty (RMV examples chosen because of cost and free shipping), you're up to $37 (with three less carts and a charger that doesn't work with a 510 manual batt). Might make sense for someone who's just testing the waters.
