Has anyone tried this? Worked with this vendor?

eGo USB Battery by Lots MFG

I'm liking what I see here.

Hiya, offtopic! I adore my ego passthrough battery... its what I use about 80% of the time. And I like vaperite as a vendor.. I get most of my organic flavorings for diy thru them. But there was a guy in the first page of this thread who had a link to a passthrough for $16, i believe, just fyi. Only other thing, is make sure the passthrough you get is a true passthrough... ie: also comes with an endcap so you can unplug, put cap on, and walk around like its a regular battery. I've seen a few of them that DONT hold a charge, and only work when plugged in. You'll love it! They're fabulous!

eGo-T from JoyeTech from J-Tek looks like what I am leaning towards. Seems like less screwing around with batteries and juice. For the price can't seem to beat it $5 less than other vendors which would cover the cost of shipping.

Oh, and now you have a coupon code thanks to Timberwolf! I used to have a company called 'Timberwolf' btw. ;) Yeah, Running wolf.. that looked like the best of the bunch to me as well. You'll do great with the 2 900 batts, esp since you'll have a passthrough for home use, and you'll find the case a necessity. I didn't have one at first, and it drove me batty, esp since my batts on my ego don't have click protection to stop em going off in pocket. And you can cartos and save those tanks for a rainy day. ;) Some people like em, but most find them a bit drippy and somewhat expensive since the attys and cartridges for tank system add up. Now all you need is cartos from Crystal Clear Vaping (that will come with your free driptip if you get 15 of em, and free shipping) and some juices..which i sent you the 30% off thing to juicy vapor. You're almost there! yay! BTW, either the Boge or the Resurrector cartos look killer in stainless, but I'm guessing the black ones would look fierce with your black pv, also.

Oh and totally off topic, but remember if you do use the tanks that come with the kit, not to use them with 'spicy' vapes, or stuff with a lot of malic acid (like citrus). So DEFINITELY don't try it with the Atomic Cinnacide from Tasty Vapor, which is one of the ones I'm sending you! Would reduce your tank plastic to goo. ;)

got an email from J-tek imports today that said not to forget you can save 5% off your order by using code ECF5, and all orders over $75 are shipped for FREE! (Priority Shipping) That would make the Riva 510 kit (ego clone) $21.38

Have to love a deal since I am broke beyond belief.... sounds like a cheesy reality show.

And thanks once again for all the hand holding I needed.... Was thinking of looking at the atomizers and cartos for it as well.

I was thinking of the case more to keep lint and stuff out of the pieces than having the battery turn on and die. Have been lucky in not having my cell phone pocket dial people.

I have a few links saved off I will post in a few mins. You know I have been looking for juice samples. I came across some places with smaller bottle for $2 and under. That's on par with some sample pack offers so thought I would pass them along.

These are in no order and might be to a specific type of juice I was looking at. I haven't ordered anything from anyone yet so can't say what the taste is like.

Just thought I would pass the savings frenzy along.

5mL Eastmall Liquid running $2

Ok not finding the other ones for some reason.... lack of sleep strikes again.

Another great source for cheap juice... At Parkes Vaping, you can get the flavors that are still 'in testing' for $1! Now you can only buy one of each flavor, so NO getting multiples of one flavor, but you can buy 1 of each flavor you like. Plus, I'm a big fan of his Shine and Diamond mods, which are only $25 each! Those are REALLY nice looking designer mods that can be either 3.7v or 6v depending on which batteries you put in it. They also have a Paws mod, with little paw prints all over it. Not my style, but lots of people think they're adorable. ;) But seriously... gorgeous mod, for $25? And if you're already a modder, and have batts and charger, that's a pretty cheap fun way to add snazzy mod to your arsenal. ;) Lastly, they have a flavor of the week at parkes.. this week's is vanilla custard.. so you can get a 30ml bottle of whatever the featured flavor is for $10 instead of normal $15.

That was my thinking. And sad thing is tons of people buy em, but noone is leaving poor bill any reviews! LoL I know people love em because they all rave about em in his parkesvaping thread, but seriously.. how hard is it to give feedback when someone gives you a killer deal like that! lol And yeah, were I you, I'd definitely snag a few of those, since all the rest you're trying are the tobacco flavors. Lots of people start thinking they'll like tobacco only, but then they realize that they prefer other stuff. This way you'll have a few of each! ;)

I already have the one you mentioned. I love it. This link is for a semi-VV ego passthrough with more battery capacity than I currently have. This has 3 voltage settings: 3.3,3.7,4.2--and a larger battery 1100mah up from the 650 I have now.

A suggestion I would make, considering that you're looking for a larger capacity battery, is the e-power kit over at CCV. They put this together with a 5-pack of ressurectors (great cartos btw) and a 30ml bottle of juice. Pretty much everything a person would need to get started -- should last a new vaper at least 2-4 weeks of use.

Crystal Clear Vaping

This is what I recommend to all the people I work with getting started, as it has everything... no more 'order this here, and this here' BS. Also, gets them started with easily replaceable batteries and sets the trasition to a mod up a lil bit easier if its something they want to stick with.

Just my 2ml :D

Oh, that kit looks awesome! Its actually out of stock, and I think Runningwolf ordered another one from jtek already, but I am SO going to recommend that to other people from now on. Great deal, esp with the resurrectors and the juice. And I love CCV anyway for their carto deals and free shipping. ;)

I've looked at, and handled the E-Power kit. And for some, it's probably the best deal. For me, I have to look at the possiblity of dropping it and watching it get run over by a fork lift. If that happens to one of my ego passthroughs, I still have the other. Also, the charger for the ego is just a wire that I can plug into any computer, my car, the phone charger....

The E Power has a separate bat charger, spare battery.

For me, the ego passthrough is the better fit, even if it isn't the better long term value.

Yeah, I was just checking out that J-Tek kit.... I think my wife may be inheriting my ePower so I have an excuse to buy another PV here soon

I've wanted to try out the KR808 cartos to see the difference from my ressurectors; both on one device could be divine

You mean the kit with the 3 mods in it? That looks so snazzy! Love the idea that there are actually separate 'tube' mods for each battery configuration. That is one heck of a deal! I think i'd want a larger charger, though, that could handle a bunch of batts at once from wall outlet.

I don't think its a bad value, really. I started with an ego kit, and got a passthrough to supplement it. I'm stuck at home with health issues, so I'm seldom far away from my computer, so it was perfect. Then when I decided i wanted a different color, I got another passthrough. And one more. ;) I didn't know they came with those vv options, though! That is so cool, and will definitely be my next one. But now, I've got 3 passthroughs, which means i can gift one to a new vaper I met here who's just getting started, and my original ego kit NEVER gets used, so its a gift to the assistant at my docs office who's been trying to quit for ages. With the passthrough, basically, you have a battery and if you buy a $2.50 cone, that's a whole unit. Excellent option for someone who has a larger unit at home, but just wants something a bit more discreet for out in the world. ;)

Once again a thank you Rachel, and everyone else who posted on this thread. Made my choices in what would be good for a whole lot more clear. Also think I learned in my research that how someone likes the model they choose is as much based on the quality of the product as it is their vaping style.

Going to have to see if any of the juices I ordered (waiting a week or two for the next round of samples) are reviewed or not. Figure give my two ml back and help someone out. I know a lot of folks ask about juices that are a good tobacco flavor. Taste is pretty subjective though (some people prefer chocolate, some vanilla and some strawberry ice cream).

Once again thanks, you guys have been a huge help to this n00b.

Indeed orachel, indeed. My wife solely uses a 950mah PT for her vaping needs; it lasts her all day, and she just plugs it in while sitting on the couch watching TV or while at her computer. She also has the support of my carto collection, juice collection, and so on. I look at the epower kit as a good starting point, seeing as it comes with cartos and juice. However, the jtek indulgence kit (with all the caps and stuff) looks awesome for an experienced vaper. I can imagine a few of my friends who just started vaping trying to configure that jtek, as well as all the frustrating phone calls I would get lol. The epower just goes to gether and works, and the spare battery fits in a carry case with a jug or two of juice and a spare carto.

Different strokes for different folks :)

Oh yeah, if you're talking newbie, i always recommend something along the lines of ego variety (and that Epower is awesome!), just because of the simplicity when used with boge cartos. I have a 'guide' i wrote up for the newbies i convert to vaping, that walks them thru the whole thing, from best suppliers online to filling different types of cartos, cleaning attys, intro to diy.... And if i had to cover all the options in a kit like that Indulgence for a new vaper, my head just might pop right off. ;)
