Cheapest parallel mech box mod?

I was looking at those hexohms but they're definitely not cheap. And some seem to be regulated? I don't see any buttons or screens to adjust anything? And I searched for clones to no avail.

I'd tend to agree. Also, 18350s are going to limit the builds you can use and the battery life is going to suck, even with two batteries. IMO, the pouch and box add absolutely no value.

In addition to my suggestion of a Cigreen Tank Crossing, I'll also echo the suggestion of a Dovpo GX200. It's not mechanical but it is an unregulated dual battery box and has reverse battery protection, short circuit protection, and a voltage readout, which is kind of nice. They get good reviews from users. And, it's only $26.

Also, see the wires going directly to the switch? When that switch has arced enough times internally, you eventually end up with a hot button and an atty that barely fires. Since you can't service any of it, you're left with a paperweight.

And why in the description does it say max output 20A? Wouldn't that depend on the batteries? If two 20A batteries were parallel in there wouldn't you effectively get something around 30A from it?

And is fasttech the only place I can get one of these? I did a quick search and it seems like that's the only retailer that shows up.

The con is that you cannot see any of the internals and you have absolutely no idea what they've used to get power going where it should be. Limiting it to 20A sounds like they know the internals can't take everything you can throw at it, which worries me.

It doesn't sound very mechanical at all to me. They seem to be confusing unregulated and mechanical, there is likely circuitry inside with some sort of fuse or other witchcraft involved. Personally I would avoid it at all costs.

I just want a nice less expensive hammond style? Small dual 18650 box.

Have you looked at the Dos Equis or Castigador Clones? Completely mechanical boxes, no wires. Also one of the smallest dual 18650 parallel boxes on the market. I've got one coming this week, the authentics got some great reviews.

Ok guys I have a question you might be able to answer - I was looking at the cherry bomber clones on Fasttech and I really liked the look of the wood one, but I noticed that the wood version has wires while the metal ones don't. Why and what is the difference?

The wood version isn't a clone.
It's not metal so it needs wires.

It's also not a cherry bomber.
It's just a crappy wooden box mod with a Cherry Bomber logo.
