so 2 weeks ago, i decided quit smoking traditional cigarettes, and try out an e-cig. so i ordered the blu premium starter kit. now heres my problem, i mainly quit because of the cost of smoking cigarettes ($8.50 a day). now i do realize that ordering the cartos from the blu site is cheaper than smoking a pack of cigarettes a day, but its not as much money as id like to be saving. plus the cartos really dont make it an entire day for me usually. im looking for the cheapest way possible to smoke my blu... maybe a site that sell cheap cartos that will fit my blu. maybe refill myself but would need some info on this. im new to the world of ecigs so any info AT ALL regarding me maybe saving some money would be excellent. thanks in advance.

Refilling the cartos for Blu is really easy. You need a paperclip and some e-juice. Unbend the paperclip a little bit and put the end of the paperclip into the hole. Not very far or else you will snag the heating coil. Use the rest of the paper clip as a lever and pop the cap off. If I remember correctly, the Blu cartos will only hold five to ten drops of juice max. Make sure you don't drip juice down the center of the carto, as it will drip right back out the bottom and get all over you. Recap, let it sit for a few moments, and you are good to go.

Congrats on making the switch, and don't get upset if you tire of the Blu quickly, everyone does and soon moves on to other e-cig types!

Don't worry, you'll go through a learning phase until you figure out what works for you. It's a bit expensive at first but you will be saving huge $$$ pretty soon. After ordering some juices and some carts and learning how to refill them you'll go weeks without having to buy anything. Later you'll probably want to move on to something with more battery life, flavor and other aspects but for now know you are on a better path and making a life change for the better. Post your experiences here on ECF and questions and hang tough.

Lots of people started with Blu and have them sitting around. You could put an ad on the ECF Classifieds (a Wanted to Buy - WTB) asking for Blu cartos, batteries, etc.

If you want better vapor, switch to a 510 cartomizers. Just don't get Low Resistance (LR) cartos or attys.

510 Boge Cartomizers:
$20 for 15 cartomizers: Crystal Clear Vaping
or if you just want to try them first:
Crystal Clear Vaping

The 306a atomizer also works on a Blu.

That should help keep down the costs. :)

Why do you suggest not using LR cartos? The guy I bought my e-power from recommended them and i've been using them since I first began vaping. I'm not having any problems with them. Is there something I should know? Thanks in advance.

Not on a standard Blu battery (that the OP has). It will ruin the battery. 450mAh or higher is recommended to run LR atties/cartos. You can use them, but your batteries probably won't live long. I believe the little Blu batteries are only 90mAh.

Otherwise, LR kick azz on big battery mods with the correct mAh (such as your ePower which (depending on the battery) is 2400, 2600 or 300 mAh).
