So my provari mini just came yesterday, I was using it to check the battery. I knew it fired while checking, but idk if it fires for a specific amount of time, but it burned up my atty. Luckily, a soak in everclear took the burned taste away. So when you check the battery, do you do it with the atty/carto off? Or can you stop it as soon as you see the voltage displayed?

Yea it must have been too dry. The atty will only let me drip 2 drops at a time, but maybe it was just dry. I have to say though, I am a little scared to try it again! Idk how many times I will be able to bring this atty back from burnedville. I've already done it twice, and can't see it working many more times.

Yeah I do the same thing. You know that old saying, waste not want not.
It's true that it fires the atomizer when doing voltage and resistance checks and it will fire while you are doing the 5 press to enter the menu. I usually have a quick vape after I read the voltage or resistance on the display. No sense wasting juice!
