I think this is going to be the trend. No longer do you have to redesign the atomizer, only the battery.
Take an item such as a flash light or pipe body and modify it so it fits on a pen style or 901 style atomizer. Increasing the length of battery life it the primary function of these products.
mods, hacks and upgrades are the trend right now.
Now if only someone would invent a fluid delivery system

clever.. neat.. looks like it will work to me.. looks like a smaller battery than a normal pipe but big enough..

batteries always have been the weak spot.. atomizers are okay as long as they are cheap enough to throw away and people know they do need throwing away..

a different shaped classic with a decent battery.. not too sherlock holmes like ether..

the suck switch might be its weakness as apostle says..

ps.. shame it takes a 500 quid order to try one out.. i would like to...

the real difference between big batteries and small ones isnt initial better vapour production..

its a longer (peak production usable) run time between charges and the simple fact they dont wear out as quickly.. off the shelf battereis like what will be in the lady pipe are also way cheaper to replace when they do wear out..

a new fresh off charge normal e cig battery will power an atomizer perfectly okay.. more so a classic one.. they just wear out quickly and the run time is far less..

i imagine they have used the classic atomizer for aesthetic reasons.. a 901 or mini would look silly stuck in the end of a pipe bowl.. the classic shape looks okay

assuming the bowl part dosnt fail.. we are talking cheap long term e smoking..

something which in my book is what it should all be about once the toy factor wears off..

ps... if i wanted to import and sell on any current chinese made product.. it would be something like the lady pipe.. however i aint gonna risk a 500 quid order to find out...

Right you are. This is heading in the right direction -- a life-long, inexpensive alternative to cigarette smoking. Forget quitting nicotine! I bet many people just want a safe alternative nicotine system that is fun, inexpensive and reliable. This appears to be a step toward that end.

it come down the the life of the "suck" switch.. cheap batteries.. cheap atomizers.. all good..

that just leaves the head part which has the "switch" the switch life is the one thing that just stopped me ordering a bunch of lady pipes from C/T to retail..

without a long life switch it means a new lady pipe kit will have to be bought when the switch dies.. goodbye cheap e smoking at £70 quid a throw..

or from a retailers point of view a new kit would have to be giving out every time one fails...

i am prepared to invest £70 quid or there abouts to find out.. how reliable the switch is..

a 601 pipe had to be chucked because of atomizer or switch failure.. this one which is gonna sell at about the same price might have to be chucked because of switch failure.. if it sells well this mean big losses for anybody daft enough to sell them without first finding out..

the 601 sherlock holmes pipe didnt sell well... this one might because its neat and its small..
