Yes it is, claims to work on one AA battery which either means it's stuffed with voltage converters or its a special AA sized battery which I think it is. Sorry my Dutch is non existant and google translate didn't make a very good job

I really don't understand the name - I would guess there are more potential male than female buyers of an e-pipe. I would suppose if/when it's marketed in English-speaking countries the suppliers will be clever enough to call it something else

Hm, this thing is coming close to a perfect solution. But like already mentioned, the switch is still inside the pipe. It would be nice if you could somehow bypass the internal switch and use the KB Classic switches with it

your right jarvis and i've said i wont be buying any more toys till someone makes a better att design but i would buy a wind up charger if one ever hit the market. i guess i could mod the one radio i got as it has a usb extension but i would need to buy one of those usb batts. not a bad idea...wonder what the puff count is. it reckons you get a 2 minute (emergency) cell phone call for 15 mins winding which i thought was fairly bad but i haven't tested it yet. it's a gift for the old dear.
