Hi all! I've been lurking on this forum since I began my vaping adventure a few weeks ago and have picked up sooo much advice that has totally enhanced my vaping experience, so much so that I managed to kick tobacco to the kerb within days of my first vape - something I didn't think was possible without an immense struggle. All the answers I sought from search engines directed me here so it ended up bookmarked and my first port of call thereon in.

I registered purely to thank the owners of this forum and all the members whose contributions have helped me immensely, not only the advice, but the questions and the general chit-chat about vaping. Great job :thumb:

Thanks all! I'm officially pulling up a chair.

Chrissie - I'm using my basic ego CE5 starter kit but I already have my sights set on battery/clearo upgrades lol. My mind is still boggling from all the different things out there

BostLabs - I've read that many threads, it's very probable that your input has come in use somewhere along the way!

An ego with CE5 is a very good start :) Next step up (if you feel you need a step up) is for something like a Twist or Spinner that has variable voltage or maybe a Vamo that also has a choice of variable wattage.

Evod or T3 is a good alternative to the CExxx. It will give you the experience of a bottom coil clearomizer, at a reasonable cost. They're very similar to each other. The T3 holds quite a bit more juice, the evod is about the same capacity as the CExxx, which is a top coil clearo.

If you decide you like the bottom coil design (the vape is a little different), then the Kanger Protank might be a logical next step.

At this point, since you're brand new to this, I don't think I'd recommend an RBA. Although a carto tank is pretty easy to learn, and vapes great.

To me, clearos are pretty easy to use. You can see the juice level, most are cheaply maintained (heads are cheap, rewinding your own coils cheaper), easy to clean.

Sounds like a good plan, Mist. You'll be able to try the bottom coil devices and compare them to your CE5 top coil.

The "experience" is a bit different, so you'll be able to decide which you prefer. And that's the important part! :toast:

You'll find rabid adherents to each here on ECF. But what pleases you is what's vital to your success.

(BTW, if you decide you prefer the top coils, you might want to look into the Vivi Nova line.)
