Hello. I have heard that there is formaldehyde in e-cigarettes. Does anyone have scientific information about this?

The whole formaldehyde in e-cigs debacle was utter bunkum. It was like intentionally setting a car on fire, then proclaiming that burning cars are hazardous.
Unfortunately there is a lot of outright lying by public health officials. The overwhelming majority of complainers are tax supported and their funding will be cut when everybody stops smoking. At a minimum they have conflicts of interest.Hello. I have heard that there is formaldehyde in e-cigarettes. Does anyone have scientific information about this?
If I remember correctly wasn't the formaldehyde with a really weird setup? I want to say very low quality, *deleted*, a ce4 clearo and that was pushed to something over 5 volts? I may be wrong, but I remember thinking "Yeah that's not good, but no one uses them that way."
The the chemicals in ejuice are flavors, nicotine, Propylene Glycol (PG,), and vegetable Glycerin (VG)You might want to read this: E-cigarettes may only be harmful under 'extreme conditions' (Wired UK)
This has been going on for years already.

Bravo! You hit that nail on the head!Unfortunately there is a lot of outright lying by public health officials. The overwhelming majority of complainers are tax supported and their funding will be cut when everybody stops smoking. At a minimum they have conflicts of interest.
I believe vaping is lower risk than smoking so I'll keep vaping. Still there might be hazards worth avoiding. I noticed there is fussing about flavors. I mix at home and find I can get good flavor from very little flavoring. Currently I use 1% cupucino flavoring from Capella. There is also concern about products of combustion when the liquid is overheated. So I use temp control and keep power down. There are concerns about battery safety. I'm careful to buy the correct batteries from reliable sources who won't sell fakes and use a combination of ohms and power that keeps the amps draw far below the maximum tolerance of the battery. I try to keep my ambitions in check. I care about throat hit, not vapor production, flavor, or impressing people.
The people who oppose ecigs will not be satisfied with anything less than a ban on ecigs while cigarettes remain available the same as always. That is because that is where their economic self interest lies.
