did anyone get chest pain when they first started . I am mixing a 24 and a 0 juice and after only a few puffs I get tightness in my chest . I stopped vaping for a day and I pick it up today and still same pain . I am not inhaling . any idea ???????
Do you suffer from asthma? I'm with Speedracer, go see a Dr. Did smoking cause this reaction? Are you taking lung hits? If so you should try the mouth to nose inhalation method. It never hits the lungs. It could be that you nic is too high or you're allergic to pg if it's in your juice. What battery and topper are you using?
I had some lung pain almost like an asthma attack when I vaped to much hot cinnamon (was so tasty). But I could feel it was more respiratory than chest pain (like a heart issue). I would agree with others though try a lower nicotine.
If someone shows up here and combines "former smoker", "new vaper" and "chest pain" in the same post I only have one response: That needs to be checked out by a medical professional pronto.
It could be anything or nothing at all. But the potential serious implications are nothing we can safely play medical guessing games with here. And you already stipulated that one of the more obvious reasons for it is absent: You aren't lung inhaling.
Under many circumstances vaping is introducing a new insult onto years or decades of smoking injury. If your lungs are in worse condition than you think they are - that whole smoker's denial thing - even the introduction of a small amount of vapor may be revealing what is really going on. Regardless, that's only speculation - you need to get this checked out.
Please report back and let us now how you are doing and what you find out.

"People" say all sorts of things. Unless any of those people are a medical professional and have put a stethoscope up to your chest I wouldn't be counting all that much on those opinions. Vaping, under the worst of equipment and liquids circumstances, should not be inducing "chest pain" within a matter of a few non-lung hits.
My wife is and she did put a stethoscope on my chest the other day when I was still vaping. Said my Hart was going a little fast. I am not blaming the vaping. Just trying to find people that also experienced this
Basically four ingredients in eJuice. PG, VG, Flavor, and nicotine. PG carries the flavor better but gets a hotter draw and has less cloud. Some get an allergic reaction to PG.
VG is thicker, more cloud, but less of the flavor is carried. Many juices come with some PG/VG options. Kind of in a nutshell.
If starting out there is a lot of references in the sub-forums. Or, you can just ask.
