Chest pain ??????? thinking about giving up !

Try a higher vg juice. I used to get some minor chest pain / lung heaviness when smoking PG. Im not allergic but being asthmatic with chronic bronchitis it just didnt gel well. Im ok on 50/50 or higher. It depends on the PG too. I cant do MBV pg or any "cheaper" brands. Halo blends are ok and so is Volcano. But I would definitely see a doc. Quitting smoking can wreck your body upside down. I had headaches and muscle aches all sorts of stuff but i got checked out and was ok. Then again i went from 2 packs a day to 6mg nic ejuice so it was a shock.

Thanks for the info. Maybe I am inhaling a little.

You get a lot of nicotine through your mouth and nasal passages too, so not inhaling is not going to stop your blood nic level going up. Nicotine constricts blood vessels. I have lousy circulation and I can feel it immediately in my legs when I vape nic, specially now that I rarely do that.

If I felt chest pain when vaping nic juice instead of leg pain I would see my doctor. You said you probably won't do that. If I were not either I would consider chest pain serious and do my best to back off the nic. If that stopped the chest issue I would try to keep the nic level low enough so I didn't get that pain any more. It's too close to the heart to take the risk.

People who are highly stressed for a long time get heart attacks and I think it may be the same type of process as you may be going through.

So, best course of action IMO is see a doctor. If you're not going to do that, do what you have to to get rid of that chest pain.

Good luck with it!

really ???? I have said this before! people say no way you are to young . I am 32 . I am using a basic e-go style . its called a white rhino and white rhino juice .
I worked with a guy who had a heart attack at 34, and he was in very good physical condition. Stress related. I'd go see a Doctor.

I began having small chest pains after Vaping for more than 4 years. They got worse until the point I was very worried and had a little panic attack, resulting in an ambulance trip to the ER. After many EKG's, Ultrasounds, a portable heart monitor and a stress test couldn't find anything wrong with my heart I started wondering if vaping could be causing it. I had always used 18 mg/ml juice through my vaping progression cig-alikes, egos, mods, VV/VW and most lately RBA's with sub-ohm microcoils. I cut back from 18 to 12 mg/ml nicotine and the chest pains almost completely stopped. I then starting winding 1.1-1.2 ohm coils with the 12 mg/ml juice and they went away completely. Go see your doctor, but also cut down on the nicotine level.

My wife is and she did put a stethoscope on my chest the other day when I was still vaping. Said my Hart was going a little fast. I am not blaming the vaping. Just trying to find people that also experienced this

I'm only 30, but I was only about 20 years old I started having problems with my heart, I would have these attacks that seemed a lot like panic attacks, only they would come out of nowhere, I didn't need to be over active or stressed for them to come on so I went to the Dr b/c I was SICK of my heart pounding out of my chest at a VERY rapid race, having a hard time breathing and everything going black (nearly passing out) and I was told I may have something called SVT. I STILL haven't been able to confirm the dx b/c the only way to dx it is to be hooked up to a machine, for 30 days! Insurance doesn't cover that and I can't afford it (but I'm treated as if I do have it).

When I first started vaping I noticed I would have these attacks often, so I lowered my PG level and it seems to have helped (obviously I still have these attacks, but it's no longer related to vaping). I don't understand not wanting to go to a Dr with something so serious. My issues are MINE and I'm not a Dr. but you asked for experiences and that is mine. That doesn't mean you have the same thing in any way and I agree, you should definitely see a Dr. My husband has back problems and one Dr. told him to take heartburn meds! Not all Dr.'s are stupid, but some are, find a good Dr. and have it checked out!

Oh yea, and I dropped my nic level and have learned I HAVE to drink more water!

So see a pulmonary doctor instead of a cardiologist... Either way, you should see a doctor. I'm 32, and my good cholesterol is low, likely from 15+ years of smoking. This puts me at risk of heart disease. Make all the excuses you want and stop vaping if you must, but see a freakin' doctor.

did anyone get chest pain when they first started . I am mixing a 24 and a 0 juice and after only a few puffs I get tightness in my chest . I stopped vaping for a day and I pick it up today and still same pain . I am not inhaling . any idea ???????

I would recommend that you try some different company's juices.. Try full PG, then full VG, and if that doesn't solve it make sure you go with a higher-end brand that uses pure ingredients as it could be the chemical fillers in lower end juice? No clue which one you're using.

Look, If your refusing to see a Dr at least would you go to a pharmacy or super market and try one of them blood pressure machines? I picked up a home jobby 15-18 years ago for about $20. I have significant health issues, complications of diabetes, end stage renal disease, smoking 30 yrs, living every day like it was my last. Ignoring many issues and my life style put me here, 1 foot in the grave. Maybe I ought to grab a 2nd shovel for you? It seems like thats what your asking for. Ignore this $#it long enough and you will be with me. Get off your ... and computer and go find a Blood pressure machine or pharmasist since your avoiding your Dr. There is far too much at stake here to be on efc asking for advice that you wont take. Right now, go give your family a hug, call your mom, dig out or write your will. It may be your last chance. It sounds just like some blocked passages to your heart. This really isnt something to ignore. We here care.
