I have the hcigar Stainless Chi You clone with silver contacts.
The Hcigar Brass Chi you with silver contacts is on the way (bought from a CoOp).
I ordered these three types of batteries from fasttech.

I have the grey Panasonics and I've heard they need modified.

Shows what I know - looks like they are great.
The NCR I would assume would be okay in the Vamo with it's circuitry protection.
You won't find me putting anything other than an IMR battery in a mechanical mod, but you may find other opinions there.
For good info, I'd search for a battery thread. People who know what you really should or shouldn't do tend to frequent those. Or you can look at what the more popular US e-cig vendors offer with their mods.
For my personal applications, I use Efest and AW batteries in my mech mods. I have some of the panasonics that everyone loves, but they just gather dust because I never use anything in 18650 mode anymore. In my Vamo and ZMax, I use EH batteries. I've never had any issue with EH batteries - I just trust the Efest and AWs more. But some vendors have really good EH deals every now and then.

I know VaporJoes was saying the INR works really well, and they assure it is safe. So maybe they are? Need more info.
Ahh!! Yup - those green things he was hawkin'. Didn't look closely at those - I tend to ignore the 18650's now. If he's using it, I'd use it.
I really should just shut up on batts. I've got a few mods and my trusty ZMax but don't really stray too far out there. I use kicks in my mechs because I don't trust myself not to vape the battery to ruin.

fooey, voltage drop is a result overall resistance. you'll get more voltage drop (on the same device, with the same battery) out of a .5Ω coil in a rebuildable than you would if you used a 1.5Ω LR atty. simply asking for (or stating) a number is meaningless without other numbers to go with it 
i could say .01v drop! but that's useless unless you know what kind of battery (imr/non imr, specific brand/mAh rating, amp limit, etc) and the resistance of the coil (atty, carto, clearo, whatever floats your boat).

So, my brass one came in on Saturday. Let me just say that I am very impressed with it.
I have had a SS one for, oh I dont know 4 or 5 weeks now, and it has gotten a fair amount of use, but the brass is so nice looking. I swapped out the SS afc ring and the SS locking ring to it and it looks fantastic. Performance wise it is right up there with and $200 mod I own. Very, very happy with this purchase. I paid under $30 for it and it is worth every penny...and then some.

Like tardcore said, it is subjective. But to give you an idea, after I noaloxed my threads and contacts I was getting a 0.35 volt drop on a 0.9 ohm coil. These are REALLY nice mods for the price. You will not regret it.
I just bought some Noalox. Are you supposed to put it on the contact plates? My Chi You has silver contact plates, should I put some on them? I just put it on the threads and it made them butter smooth.
Yeah, they're Hcigar. They took down the other 2 early ones, so the $27 one listed on their site is Hcigar. I have a feeling that the Immortalizer, Trident ss & gold, SS private 2, and the nemesis clones are all Hcigar.
Speaking of which, did anyone get or have the Nemesis clone coming?
Was it through FT? Sorry - should have been more specific in my question. Was wondering if anyone has seen the FT nemesis clone and has any info on it. $30 sounds great to me!
Also - I have a Chi order sitting in SF. Assuming it gets delivered in the next day or so, I can tell you what they were sending out as of last Thursday.

I ordered the Nemesis clone from FT but it won't ship until the 20th.
Hahahahaha so funny. You no like,you no buy. Stop trippin on it dude,its not like you can stop China from getting down dirty. Hell they even jack each other even more then anybody else. I bought 2 chi clones and Nemesis. Then I just got the real deal Nemesis VR today. When the next version chi comes Im gonna get it to. But you also must understand that alot of people are broke and they deserve a chance at the good stuff too.
I used to feel the same as you do. But now its different because what can I really do about it......nothing. So I refuse to loose anymore sleep over it and you should do the same. Have a great day!
